This phone is really excellent with nice features. But unfortunately we find that the manual is not up to the mark. It doesn't explain how to connect to the computer and download pictures and video recorded. Any online manuals on the same may please be suggested to my mail id mentioned above or to firstname.lastname@example.org.
So far we couldnot download any photo from the set. We are not technical and hence we don't understand the terminology like GPRS other than itz definition. Hence please provide us with the information with which we will be able to download the photos and videos in to the computer.
In all other ways, the set is performing excellently. Thanks for releasing such a nice model.
Am from Kerala/India..
Got the phone today...its pretty cool...
Seems to get a little slow once a while..shall learn to live with it though :)
Neat work motorola
Can anyone tell me what the picture quality is like, how good is it compared to other phones such as the motorola A925
I find the motorola A760 excellent in all regards. Network coverage is excellent, the play back of files is excellent. what it lacks is the limited space in 8MB and the camera is not VGA. I guess now that motorola has more that one similar linux phones all over the world (A760, A768, E680) it would just be a matter of time before applications are available for it. the http://www.mymobilesoft.com/ has games for this cell but only avaiable in Taiwan, hong kong and singapore. I found a tetris game that works for this but using the keys and not the touch screen.
It's my dream PDA, I wish to have it soon.
Beter than Windows PDA, it's quite simple and powerfull.
i can't find any games in my A760. How to get it. Also how to use my phone as mp3 player. tq.
hey, pp if u c this mobile never never buy it coz it is very lousy n the function is not like the internet say there are no games,n its mb is very little i felt regret 2 buy this phone it is damm lousy if u buy u will regret
Hi, I just bought the motorola A760, in China... but i want to use it in Guatemala, the problem, is that the network here is GSM 1800.
I don t know much about how this work, but i ll be glad if u tell me if I can install a special software, or what can i do so I ll be able to use it here as well.
I think this is a great phone with great features, my problem is I ned the GPRS settings, I am in australia and the phone is not on the market here yet and I have need of the settings to get it working. can anyone help me?
The battery indicator is not reliable. After 2 days of usage, the indicator still showed 100%, suspecting amiss I tried recharging the battery. As I suspected, the indicator then showed the actual remaining power available while only charging and it was only 5% left. The another matter is, I am trying to source for the USB driver for Windows XP Pro. The USB drivers provided are only for Windows 2000 and below. In this case, I am not able to link to my PC for any downloading. The diskspace is also another problem, only 8MB. We need upgrades from Motorola, a good product should not have constraint on its important function especially the usefulness of space for a PDA phones.
i like the features in it but it works on Linux OS. My notebook is Window OS. How can i synchronize to my notebook.
jaeick..!!2 option for you!!
option 1 is to send yr phone 2 motorola service centre for servicing, maybe yr phone is a faulty set.
option 2 is just forget all abt this data cable thing, spend some money to get yr self a bluetooth adapter.wz b/tooth adapter u can tranfer anything u want from yr phone to computer and from computer to phone(anything mean ringing tone,mp3,wallpaper,contact,photo and etc).dont tell me you have no idea what is "bluetooth adapter"...
I'm running Xp. Is that a problem since the phone is running on Linux??? I have tried turning the phone on/off a few times but still doesn't work. T.T
The thing is I have read somewhere while surfing on net that motorola a760 also speak the time, but I can't find the option out there can u guys suggest me where to find this option, what I think that this phone by motorola is really cool, earlier I was planning to buy s.e. p900, but the phone was to much expensive n I was tired of using these old models keypad phone n when I have seen this phone I thought it's made for me, cause one can easily say that's it's value for money. I am from India n over here it's cost is only US 400$...
