how many text messeges can this phone store? i know motorolas have the tendancy to not store that many so i was just wondering

for your problem, u MUST reformat it. go to MASTER clear, then enter the code 000000. but b4 u do, plz save any important files or contacts. try it.

Hi all. I purchased my A780 about 3 weeks ago off Ebay. I am in the US with T-mobile.I have one problem. I can not create and save a network profile. When I go to "data network" and put in the info and click on save, it never saves the profile. Therefore I can not get my internet broweser to work. Can anyone help with this problem. I love this phone. It's the best I have ever had, and believe me I have had several.

To open PDF's you use the Viewer Software. It works fine.

hi ppl its been about six months since i baught my motowiz a780 from mumbai india, and now i cannot switch it on. as soon as i press the touchpad my phone hangs and goes still, then i need to remove the battery to shut down the phone. also it often showed the memory full message. i also need to know that how can we store delivery reports of smss sent???

Motorolla A780 has built-in GPS, if so, any clue which navigation program other than co-pilot will work with linux [Europe]? program, would it be posssible to install it alongside with with something like tomtom
any good site with software for that phone?

Finally i got the software for boosting the sound it is,software from gerald named as "soundcontroller" also i have downloaded EZXplayer which can run avi,mp3,mp4,wmv,dat,etc files it is the best palyer any query feel free to ask me......just mail me at

I would like to know if tomtom can be installed this phone alongside co pilot. It would be great if it could. I have purchased an extra memory card to install it on if possible as 256 isn't alot of memory.

i personally love my mobile.. its not perfect by all means but i like it as it does what it says on the box. however, i am intriged as to you can instal tomtom on it alongside co-pilot... is thispossible and if so how? i'm on a mission so would appraciate any tips etc....

Hi,
I'm looking at buying this phone but have some questions I would like answered first:
1) Does this phone have any problems with sound? With some complex phones people on the other end have difficulty hearing. Typical problem for PDA style phones.
2) How is the Contacts setup? Motorola has never been known to have a great contacts feature. Did they do contacts in this phone differently?
3) Is there many games out there that will work on this phone? Where can they be found? Is Motorola Fans the only site?
4) Memory - Did any figure out the Memory Full issue and how to fix it?
5) Also Memory - What's the largest memory card it can handle?
6) Signal - Does it have any signal issues with GPRS? Does it drop calls?

a780 will give a memory full message when its 'ezx local' memory gets full.
check it n clear extra themes n stuff like that.

people out there,dont say that the sound output is low,just try Mp3player,also the loudness depends on format of song not on speaker....bye mind u all, this phone can be as loud as k700i
