Dear Sajin Jose,
Yes u can use this as horizontal position too for viewing the pictures or taking pictures. But u dont have an option for An FM radio..but who cares when u have a great sounding MP3 players(sounds great only through ear phones).
And lastly..as i know u can use upto 512MB card as companies Specifications..but i feel this set can take 1GB card too..
This set is good overall..

Hi, I am not able to open any of my email a/cs (Gmail, Yahoo) in the Opera Browser or even in the Email Client provided with the phone. Any pointers will be appreciated... do I need to configure the Opera Browser to start accessing Gmail/Yahoo?
I am getting a message "JAVA not enabled and JAVA script is enabled".

Some queries regarding this wonderful PDA + GSM. I hope someone will be there to help me... :-)
1. Does this phone's display come to Landscape mode (horizontal view or breadth wise)
2. Any option of FM Radio?
3. The max capacity Memory card that is supported?
And, I hope that this model is currently available in India. If any one knows the current selling rate, sending it will be a greatly appreciated..

Just got it..and I like it very much..especially I got it with a free blueetoth razr h3 & 512MB sd card. With realplayer, u already got a multimedia device but its multi entry functions (rocker/jog dial, keypad,touch screen and voice commans!)that i like the most. I was
a nokia fan before but their new phones tend to be slower and crashes.

"Memory full" error message
I am encountering same problem as Jason discribed.I consulted a cellphone repairing center here in Beijing, they said the whole system shold be reinstalled in order to solve this problem. but the question is where should look for the system software for A780?

1 The pricing of this phone is very less compared to the features and brand can anyone help me
2 How is the camera and does it have zooming facility
3 is this user friendly mean to say downloading ringtones,songs,applications
4 can i work on the excel,word or ican just view it

What is this nonsense about opie? and being able to edit the office stuff on the phone.

dude d services here in india supports a780 4 gprs services it supports d same settings dat r available 4 a760 atleast hutch provides so , so u bettre chk it out n den jump 2 a conclusion
no probs wid d hanset it wrks wel wid d gprs here in india

ALL who tell that sound is less r mistaken the sound is comparable to sony(w550i) just download the MP3 player from motorolafans.com, there is no such software like soundbooster but we have bass booster,the themes r awesome from same website..............

you cant use WAP/GPRS in India, as this phone do not support it, any network in India like Airtel/Hutch/Idea/Orange..no one

my friend bought this handset for me from Singapore..Handset is too good. I am living in India-Pune & using Airtel Services. I just need help for my handset for GPRS settings, Airtel dont have setting for this handset in there record so i coudent use it..kindly mail me deshpande_shailesh@yahoo.com

how to say about this phone guyes...amzing phone i ever had after i-mate k-jam, amzing features...dont know how motorola can produce it :)

best phone i ever had...amzing features...good looks...very sofisticated phone...
Disadvantages :
1. Calculater dont have percentage sign
2. No flash
3. MP3 sound is not like other in ears..quality is very good,but not too loud

Hi there, I am also getting the User memory is almost full message. It started showing when I believe I had too many sms's stored...over 1000. Now that I have deleted them all, the message continues to show and only periodically. I have tried making a lot of room and also have a flash card stored with nothing on that. What do I do to get rid of the message? Thanks.

I have bought motorola A780 a week back and its a fantastic phone. I just want to ask few queries and ur suggestions will be help full to me can i install open office.And can i play mp3 songs in my bluetoooth headset if yes then pls tell me. Can i also install smart movie software or not and others also which we install in nokia phones. pls let me know.
