I like it, and it´s also affordable. Hope to see this model available soon in stores....
Anonymous, 15 Aug 2008finally an affordable touchscreen.goodjob moto. is it a low end phone?
i think nokia is worki... moreAt around US$200, I do believe A810 is a "low-end" phone, considering touch-screen is standard.
Who else offers a touch-screen phone for US$200, other than those mainland Chinese brands? Or one with tri-band?
Yeah, the "largest" mobile phone manufacturer is still "struggling" to relase one single touch screen device...even though it outsells the other brands together and has so much more resources...
guys, yeah motorola deserves some thanx, at least after so many days they are providing something innovative and cheap altother :d anyway guy c this also -
nanz, 11 Aug 2008 "o" helllo, wake up man moto is not going down.iam sure it will not successfull like nokia and other brands waste handsets r in moto moto roks but moto dies soon

Anonymous, 26 Jun 2008moto is going down !!!!!!!! "o" helllo, wake up man moto is not going down.
Anonymous, 05 Aug 2008Man... this has got to be the ugliest touchscreen phone ever... no wonder it is so cheap!Yeah, cheaper than the so called "largest phone manufactuer" who can't even offer a single touch screen phone as of Aug 2008...
The names "Excellent Black" and "White Shang-chi" for the colors doesn't make it a bit more appealing. Motorola will die a good death ;)
Man... this has got to be the ugliest touchscreen phone ever... no wonder it is so cheap!
Rain, 14 Jul 2008 I like it! Hope to see it in Russia, but I'm afraid it's for asian market only (as ming was).... moreMotorola's touchscreen phones are developed and designed in and for Asian market, but Ming can be found for sale in some countries of South American too. In Brazil (my country), I can buy a locked Ming for Claro (a GSM operator) for R$ 700, with no contract, in a pre-paid plan. It's one of most cheap and interesting models for people with no need for advanced resources, but with desire to have PDA functions, web/email and a great user interface.
I like the touchscreen based UI and Linux-powered platform of Motorola and want to see it more and more.
With a good price, I could buy this new model and replace my old SPH-i330 CDMA from Samsung; in Brazil, smartphones are very expensive. Let's wait...
this is a forum about cons & pros of the phone. Plz dont put f*** comment like the guy say about motorolla company. stop talk s***. sorry for my language.
I bought one A810, the design and handling are very good compared with other pda phones, I know nothing about the quality.. but so far it works well.. Easy to operate touchscreen phone.. I paid 1800RMB in China, around 160 euro. My previous phones, Nokia and Samsung.
Anonymous, 19 Jul 2008here in china, it ranges from 1550rmb-1600rmb(roughly us$200). so much compared to other highe... moreNot to mention certain almighty brand doesn't even know how to make "1" decent touchscreen phone...(given the company probably sales at least 4 times more than Moto with lots of more resources in R&D...but still doesn't know how to make one), not to mention a "budget" one costing USD$200.
motorola...says it all!
bad and ugly basic crap phones from...
never trust motorola, they make the worst phones on the market so much so, that nobody here in britain buys them anymore!
thats why they were selling there company!
depmod, 18 Jul 2008What price do you mean?Is it expensive?here in china, it ranges from 1550rmb-1600rmb(roughly us$200). so much compared to other highend smart phone that has a touchscreen but do little..not even the techies here can find useful.
most people here have a bad impression about this fone. but who amongst those who commented badly really really seen the fone? well people, i live in china, and this fone is very good. and the price is very reasonable. who cares about hi-tech features if dont know to to use... wake up techies..!!!
Nobody is stopping them from making a $800 phone with all features. What you can get in $200 argument is excuse IMO.
this phone is for people who want an "iphone" type phone without all of the iphone features. aka IT'S A BUDGET TOUCH SCREEN PHONE! Motorola is the first company to offer a low priced touch screen phone. If you want a touch screen with wifi, 3g, 8 mega pixel camera, GO BUY SOMETHING ELSE!
