It now sports a heavy duty dual core Krait and beatiful larger HD screen with higher ppi than One X and S3. Dual core Krait > quad core Tegra 3 in example. Beats both HTX One X and Tansformer Prime in quadrant.

I traded my galaxy s3 for the atrix hd I'm a phone junkie so believe me I know both phones in and out but it really surprises me the atrix hd isn't getting enough love the only thing they s3 has over the atrix hd is battery and pop up player(which sounds cool but is annoying as hell) oh and for you atrix hd users you can snap screen shots too by holding the power and down volume key nuff said

Great smartphone but having some bd feature also visit http://heart2surf.com/motorola-atrix-hd-full-fledged-review-with-its-bad-features/ to see some bad feature and price
With this phone's dimension, I expect the screen size to be at least 4.8" or bigger.
Anyone here who knows when the unlocked version will be available? :-)

device, and the only area other competitors
beat it are the screen size. It runs on the same
1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4
processor as the HTC One X (AT&T) and the
Galaxy S III in the US. The difference here is a
smaller screen and it only comes with 1GB of
RAM. We have a 4.5-inch 1280 x 720 full HD
Colorboost display with an amazingly vivid and
crisp 330 PPI (pixels per inch) that beats the
iPhone Retina display and more.

inch LCD display with HD resolution. The
Galaxy S3 heralds the same resolution on a
4.8-inch Super AMOLED display. Motorola has
added something they call "ColorBoost" in the
Atrix HD, whose function is to slightly over-
saturate colors and give a vibrant effect to the
display. Fortunately, a little over-saturation is
not an issue as at 326ppi the display is sharper
and easily readable when compared to the
Galaxy S3's screen, which has a pixel density
It's seems like the Atrix HD display beat the GS3 one with a 326ppi vs 306ppi for the GS3 but the Atrix HD screen use LCD with doesn't comsume a lot of juice. While the GS3 use Super Amoled that that more juice than LCD.
Coming to the iphone 4S display vs the Atrix HD, the GS3 has beat the Iphone 4S display while the Atrix HD seems to be the best.

1sickbastard, 18 Jul 2012How fast does the battery drain on the Atrix HD with moderate use? And how's the camera quality?Actually, the picture quality is good as some review says but the battery isn't good still Moto SmartAction can help a bit.
But Atrix HD is a mid- range smartphone when you look at the battery lasting 4h35 vs GS3 which last 6h30.
Although the Atrix HD's battery isn't as good as the GS3 but the HD screen is the best and not even the iphone 4S can beat the Atrix HD.
For only $99 you can get the best HD screen in the market. With best buyer for even less $49.
Check out the this review and see how the Atrix HD perform on benchmark compare to GS3, HTC ONE X...

So make it even perfect Jelly Bean on top of it.

I could live with the camera's poor performance indoors, but have they gotten better in the Atrix HD?
How's battery life? Fingers crossed there's a MAXX version down the pipeline. Besides, I'm not a fan of uneven thickness in phones.

Some people sold the GS3 for a Atrix HD here:
Why I sold my GS3 for the ATRIX HD
Well even though I wasn't too impressed with
the GS3 from what I had seen I got caught up
in the hype as it neared launch and ended up
buying one. My battery cover didn't snap
correctly and overall build quality was not
impressive, so now I got the ATRIX HD.
Reasons I prefer the ATRIX HD..
-Build Quality and materials are far superior to
the samsung (Gorilla Glass, Kevlar backing,
metal buttons etc. it just feels put together so
much better than my gs3)
-Design is more appealing (the oval blasé
design of gs3 left much to be desired & I think
the razor-esque design of the ATRIX HD with
the more rounded corners is really nice. From
the titanium bezel in the front to the all black
casing that surrounds the Kevlar backing this
thing just looks sweet!)
-On Screen Nav Buttons (I've always thought it
was a mistake manufacturer's never adopted
the futuristic buttonless design of the Gnex)
-Hot Swappable Micro SD (Love the side
loading approach to memory cards)
-Dedicated HDMI port (Finally got a HDTV so
its gonna be cool not having to use the stupid
-Skin is much closer to stock ICS than the
heavily skinned touchwiz(or any manufacturer
skin for that matter) in fact there is no more
motoblur just a few tasteful customizations(still
use apex for that stock look and feel!)
I know there are some tradeoffs going with the
ATRIX as opposed to the GS3 but it just feels
like an overall nicer phone to me. Wasnt really
loving the Baby blue color or the flimsy battery
cover on the gs3. I'm happy with my choice but
either way I gotta say AT&T is killing the game
right now between the ATRIX HD, GS3, One X,
Lumia 900 etc. theres something for everyone's here.
