The phone is good, yet others say it's suck. Whatever, But some folks should not say the word "don't buy it, it's rubbish bla bla..." It's individual's money, remember? so let one decides, it's up to their damn brain heh heh, right? gonna get one soon. just consider it's a piece of heavy metal with voice connection, at least. don want to buy, step aside. thanks my friends.

16 Million Colors
World’s first 16 million color, circular display with 300 dpi resolution in the mobile phone industry

62 Carat Lens
Created from Grade 1 62-carat sapphire crystal, one of the most scratch-resistant materials on earth

Meticulously Crafted
Stainless steel housing with chemically etched textures and patterns takes nearly two weeks to sculpt, etch and polish

Swiss-Made Main Bearing
At the center of the mechanical heart is a Swiss-made main bearing, which serves as the foundation allowing the blade to rotate with seamless precision

Custom-Engineering

CrystalTalk™ Technology
CrystalTalkTM technology delivers supreme clarity and deep resonance to every single conversation an AURA owner has, even in noisy environments

PVD coating, the same used when making luxury watches, gives AURA its polished, mirrored shine

Aluminum Keypad
Individual aluminum keys are formed, anodized, spin-finish applied and assembled

Great looking handset, back to the sexy days of the v80, shame its a motorola, no market for motorola in the uk anymore and with a £1200 rrp I do not see this handset selling that many. Even though it is a great piece of engineering for a mobile phone, it lacks the toys that are required, don't try and copy nokia when you are not in their league.

good idea for a luxury phone. Swiss grade mechanisms and a screen that is incredible. Has Crystal Talk technology and solid metal buttons and years of durability, so it will serve the basic functions of a phone beautifully and for a long time. For those who only need the basic functions of a phone, the Aura is great. As far as lacking modern technological traits, it doesn't make sense to put so much money into a phone only to have the technology/phone outdated within half a year. This isn't the type of phone people will be upgrading very quickly I suspect, and I suspect technology really isn't a big determining factor to the sort of people buying this phone.

It looks cool and cute, shining and sleek. The spec is not so generous, though. Love it too. But I wonder why it's that expensive? why oh why?
