Actually, Zee, to be honest it also DOES help in self-esteem and showing off.

As others have said, it can do most of these things. And look at it like this: this phone costs 1700 euros in my country. People who can afford it already have a car, a 12-megapixel camera, a laptop, a GPS receiver should they need one, an iPod, a hi-fi stereo, and if they want to instantly message someone they call him - phone bill is not an issue. If you can afford it, you get one quality thing for every task, not one plastic "it does all" thing. As a phone, Aura can do most things you need, if you don't have anything else at your disposal at the moment. And it feels good, not for showing off, or self-esteem, but because it's metal, unique and almost emotional in the approach, a work of art and fine craftmanship instead of standard mass production. Sure I can't afford this, just like I can't afford a Ferrari, but I can still admire it. If more phone makers would have the guts to release non-standard phones the market would look better than it does now... man, I can't tell phones apart any more.

Someone with a life might want instant messenger to talk to friends, email for work, an application that could tell them the weather forcast while they're at their friends house - maybe if they wanted to go to the beach, I could go on and on and on but the point is someone with a life would want something that gave them more oportunities.
kaser, 22 Jan 2009it does not mean any thing to carry this mobile phoneWell, imagine if you carried a regular plastic-fantastic phone, one of the millions of same-looking phones (won't mention any brand names). What would it say about you?
2-3 years ago cell phones already had everything that a person (I mean: person with a life) needs. But you don't see phones that aren't looking like throwaway kitchen appliances so very often. Thumbs up!
Anonymous, 22 Jan 2009Can easily understand why you wrote such statement...given you (can) only (afford to) drink Pepsi...I've got a comeback. Is there a much more expensive Pop ??
