Sorry the previous post could be erroneous but I found this one in Britain and it looks like the real McCoy as it has a jack that fits into the headphone jack.
The data cable for the Motorola C261 can be found at this site http://www.oemcellphone.com/productdetail.asp?productid=2115&refid=shopzilla. Hope this helps everyone who's looking for one. DW

they dont charge us for recieving texts down here in trinidad so i dont have any problems.the only things i dont like is no bluetooth,no infrared,no usb cable well u can imagine how frustratin that is but other than that its alright but i still dont like tha battery life:tooooooooooo short
HI!!! I think this phone is somewhat kind of boring because it doesn't go with the new trend of phone. also, it does not have any connectivity features like a usb port, bluetooth, and infrared. it is worth expending using the mms as you know.
can someone send me a message with regards to the hidden features of this damn phone.
Why is it that when someone calls me, their number shows up and not their ID? It's impossible to recognize who is sending me a text or phone call.
Does anyone else's do that? Or can someone help me fix it?
thus motorola c261 had really 5 mb shared memory? I already purchase it and it has 1311 total mb shared memory only. tnx..
Just like a lot of you guys, i was wondering if the usb cable or software for the c261 was just a myth or if it was real, i found a website that can answer a couple of your questions: http://global.mobileaction.com/download/download1.jsp?phoneBrand=13&modelID=471&go=+Go+ i hope this help you
i have this phoneand i like it pretty good except the picture part that isnt very good and itis stupid that it costs to get text messages but it is a pretty good phonne and oh yea the pictures u have to have a lot of light for them to turn out good...
I purchased the Motorola C261 from Tracfone and haven't recieved it yet.....I was wondering if this phone has the option of setting the network to the 900/1800 network....on the Motorola website the manual say that it can ( under the Menu's " Settings > Network > Band Selection > 850/1900 or 900/1800.....not sure if TracFone blocks these settings so it can only be used in the USA...
La dee dah geniouses. The specs for this phone say NO USB, so why some of you are still holding on to the belief there is one?
for some reason i cant get my SIM to work right in this phone. i put it in and turn it on but it always says, insert SIM. and a few days ago it was working. and ideas?
There must be some Usb software out there for this phone, pretty much all phones do. But there's a catch, you'd have to find a cable with a 5mm jack, the size of the headphone jack. That's the only other way to get pictures onto or off of a computer, but I haven't figured out where to find it yet. If anyone has any other questions, don't hesitate to ask; I have this phone and have been with tracfone for about 5 years. =)
can anyone plz tell me is there any data cable available for this mobile and can the pics and ringtones downloaded in the computer.
is there a way i can get pictures into my computer without sending them as mms? if you do know, plz email me at email@example.com
Can someone please tell me if a data cable and software exists for this phone in order to download pix directly to a computer. And if so, where I can purchase it.
The problem is that there's only a 2.5mm input. Not a mini USB.
Currently the only way to get the pix is to e-mail them to a computer, and TracPhone charges 1 unit per pic plus the download time.
Anyones input would be greately appreciated.
