nah..there is no video download page at all for c380! and i've emailed motorola malaysia and their personnel told me that c380 does not support mp4 and currently there is no upgrade for c380. darn!
During the install of MPT 3.11, you might get 2 error messages, just ignore them and finish the installation.
that's what i did and it works fine.
Downloaded Mobile phone tool 3.1.1 from http://coma.fsb.hr/motorola/files/
USB DRIVER And Mobile Phone Tool installed.
Everything working fine.
Just that i can't open Multimedia Studio.
Each open, an error message prompt out.
ERROR STARTING PROGRAM
A REQUIRED .DLL file,GDIPLUS.DLL, WAS NOT FOUND.
Was thinking got problem when downloading the Software. But already tried few times. Still same problem.
Anyone know what's wrong on it?
to all the guy who can't use your keyboard (it's the rectangular thing with butons, near to your mouse)to find games on internet:
and if you find out how to use your keyboard, theres more on the net, and i leave that to you :)
you must use pst to enable java on your phone, after that in setings>java will apear the java app loader.
you must have usb driver instaled, pst 6.7 (and patch 6.7 files copy in istaled directory), run pst, new kjava, read phone, enable java on phone.
run MIDway 2.8.
all this software is downloadable here:
i have a problem with java:( i can't upload games to my phone... The phonetool warks perfectly, but something is wrong with pst. And i can't find java app. The menu in my phone is: Menu->Settings->Java Settings->1)java system 2) Delete all apps 3)App vibration 4)App volume 5)App backlight. So where is that "java app loader"?
to romeo.......... the website u give to me also not working...... do u have any idea how can i get the driver as soon as possible...can it be send through email........ pleezzzzzzz romeo ... i really need ur help......:(
1). Power up the Phone.
2). Click Menu->Settings->Java Settings->Java App Loader.
3). It shows a Dialog on the screen "Insert Cable Now"
4). Insert USB Cable.
5). The phone should display "Jal Link is active."
6). Run MIDway 2.8.
From now you just need jad and jar files, you can find games here:
and search with google for c650, v220 games cause they can play on c385/380.
i have nokia games that play on motorola to :)
At last i managed to enable java app loader....but now ... in midway i recieve the same thing...timer expired...what could it be...for you guys who didn't got that fixed, i enabled it by closing and opening the phone...but not inputing the phone number, leave the phone like that and press read phone then enable java app loader... etc., i did this and it worked!
Well...i have a c380 and i don't have movies either...in multimedia, btw, did the movies thing...form wap worked zc? I am very curious, cand u uploade movies on the c380 ?
now that i see we have different software.im not sure if c380 supports video playback but in hellomoto malaysia site, it has a page for u to download videos for c380.i'll try to download their videos via gprs and see if my phone supports it.wish me luck :)
if you check motorola's home page, at c385 fun features, you'll see that the phone has Video Playback, but you'll also see that Phone content may vary by region and operator.
i couldn't find c385 soft, just c380 on some rusian sites, where i don't understand the language but i guessed it could be the c380 soft.
HI, My C385 HAS FOLOWING DETAILS:
S/W Version: R364_G_0B.D1.09R
DSP S/W Version: 62171700
sorry man, i used pst 6.7 general and the patch, and it worked from the first one, i enabled the Java App Loader, and that's it.
If mobile tools find your phone maybe the Pst has some erors, try to reinstal, if you use PST 7.1.1, try with 6.7 and the patch, cause that's what i used and worked for me.
to chris again:
u can get ur USB cable from any pc shop.look for mini USB cable.i think it would cost around RM 20+.do not be a fool and buy the original cable and software from motorola because it is darn expensive and does not worth the price. after u got ur cable follow the links given in this forum, download the drivers and the manager and u can start uploading stuff on to ur phone.
hey dude, c380 does support chinese character.unlike nokia or samsung, u do not have to change the phone language in order to use chinese characters.in Message, press Menu,go to Entry Setup, choose either primary or secondary setup.from there u can find Pin Yin or stroke sequence which writes chinese characters.
btw, in Multimedia, does ur phone has Movies? i guess the model selling in Asia does not have.
hey guys, pls check the followings from ur phone:
Settings > Phone Status > Other Information >
1. Flex technology: csic380t672gz0cd
2. S/W Version: R364_0B.D1.1AR
3. DSP S/W Version: 62D7D700
im using a c380 and i think this version of software does not support mp4 files. what software c385 is having?
does anyone know how can i install a c385 software into my c380 so it can plays mp4 files?
Of course i do...but the program restarts my phone and then it says Please pwoer cycle the phone, i can't manage to enable the java app loader.
for those of you who wants the driver:
1) download and install PST 7.1.1 from http://coma.fsb.hr/motorola/files/
2) go to your windows device manager and update your C380 driver. when asked to browse for driver, just go to PST folder and select one of the USB****.inf files. i think i used USB2000****.inf
your phone should be installed as a motorola modem in windows now. and you can install phonetools to meddle with your phone. :)
