You can delete the factory stored ringtones and pictures by using cracking tools like P2kTool.I used it once to delete unwanted files to increase the storage capacity of my phone,but be warned you should be careful not to delete system related files, it might cause abnormal behavior of your phone.I suggest try to back-up the files of your phone to your computer before you proceed deletion. Do this on your own risk.

Make sure you install the proper device driver before you proceed linking your phone to your pc of whatever tool you wish to use.
-If you are using the Motorola VBP software, you should first install the driver for your phone which is basically a modem driver before using the software upload/donwload files.
-On the other hand if your using the P2kTool, you should also need to install the specific driver for this tool before you can intiate linkage with your phone and pc (as far as I can remember it needs 4 drivers to complete the installation but all of it can be found on the same folder).The driver is located somewhere with in the installation folder.

U got to tell me the specific problem did u face rite now. Is it the software wont run? Or it cant be installed? or the phones not working? I dont really get what u mean... explain more detail about it.. probably i could help :)

Well, I dont know about that.. but I know it could be delete since I saw my friend do that from one repair shop. He just simply bring it to one shop and asking for delete default stuff like photos or videos. And of course it charge some fees (service charge).. I hope it could help you guys..

Okay Ill answer those question.. PHOEBE, GPRS not necessary to download photos or music from PC. Waddya mean by no instruction manual?? how to operate or how to download or how to do setting??? explain more further please...
STEVE,to get the MP3 through PC its easy.. just copy to mobile.. thats all.. by the way, use MOBILE PHONE TOOLS software from Motorola itself..
JUANITA, u need to set the MMS setting to receive MMS.. the setting depends on the operator. Movie, u can copy from PC but in MPEG4 formats..
THAIS, if u using MOBILE PHONE TOOLS, turn it on, go to Multimedia studio then it will show 3 folder; AUDIO, PICTURES and VIDEO.. select PICTURES and select ur file then right click on ur mouse.. "Copy to computer" click and DONE... its easy

how do i get mp3 on my phone c650 with usb cable i use data pilot pro and can only do midi

I have the USB drive CD and the cable and the Motorola Modem is operating. I have installed the CD. However, I don't have a manual or any information on how I am supposed anyone please provide a step-by-step guide? The C650 booklet doesn't even provide a guide about it.
Another thing, do I have to have GPRS to download pictures from my PC onto my phone? Music and pictures that aren't from the internet?

Oh I forgot to mention bout this.. I brought lot of different color of cover for this mobile.. and its cheappppp (coz from china, not original motorola) for cost $0.80 US DOLLAR... can u imagine that??? I got different color covers now :D its so fun hohoho

I use this phone for a year.. its quite good.. its cheap and offer some good stuff (of course you cant expect bluetooth or good megapixel on this price).. I use MP3 as ringtone and I upload quite lot MP3 into it.. here is the tips for you guys..
Try find MP3 editor software, and lower the kbps (quality sound). Yes it will decrease the quality but u can put lot of MP3 into the phone (example 2 mins for 200 KB) and I delete the games on this phone, I get 1.9 MB memory. MIDI ringtone nice cause it tooks a few kb only and quality is quite good.
For software, you need a CD (I get the USB cable and the CD free when I bought this phone). I dont have any problem uploading MP3 or MIDI or photos so far. I only face some minor problem like not detecting the phone but i found out how to solve it. there are 3 major reason for that.. first its connected but different USB port from first installation, second is connected but there some software disturbance (I got Nokia 6600 software too, so I fully turn off the nokia software first) and the last one is because I forgot to install the modem of this phone to PC :P
I hope this one could help you guys.. Overall this one is a good mobile (because its cheap :P)

I have a motorola c651 and tried to install a the driver and modem thing from http://global.mobileaction.com/ but it doesn't work and now wen i start up windows i get a wierd message that says it can't find something or other

a cheap phone with camera.
but it has no infrared or bluetooth connection to transfer picture or ringtones.
it can plays mp3 but another weakness is the memory. it has internal memory only 1,5 mb (how many songs can be saved??) no external memory card as well...too bad.

it's avery good mobile but i can't transfer the picture from it to the computer or transfer any mp3 or video to the mobiel ftom the computer without the cd and the cd is very expensive and i have the cable i need any one to give me any site in the net to helb me to solve this proplem . If you have C650 or C651 you need:

first of all install the usb cable device. if u are requsted to reboot and try to reinstall again just reboot and then when it starts to install again just kill the app using task manager.Now the usb cable should be installed. Now run motorola tools and just follow the instructions if u have trouble with data transfer between the phone and the pc just reset, it worked for me.
