Motorola said that there is no upgrade on android version(from 2.1 to 2.2).
And regarding voip and sip, I do not know anything about that. Sorry.....

charm is gud cell phone , but battery stand by time is not gud , poor battery, pls help me for this.

I have called few authorize service centers in Chennai (India), and they said the battery (BT7X) is not available.

Need help. I just got this phone 3 weeks ago. The battery is 4 hours. I didnt use it. I left it at home at 9am then i came back at 1pm the battery is 10 percent already. And one thing I cant play YOUTUBE it says SORRY, THIS VIDEO CANNOT BE PLAYED. THERE WAS A PROBLEM WHILE PLAYING. All of the video here are marked with "i". Need help to fix this problem. Thanks a lot.

in comparision to fire xt311(I dont rem r d model numbr bt its touch n type) I think charm s better because it has motoblur u.I(which is sooo sexy as it is also in defy,droid,backflip,flipout etc etc) whereas fire has motoswitch which s very boring...d only advantage of fire s dat its android 2.3.4
about charm- if u dont know den u otta know-d android s not upgradable
good-motoblur u.I! ! s d best u.I out...sexiest!!,,,lukss makes u go gaga!

hai...I am from india...it's very nice phone..only t-mobile supply two battery....there is 2 huge problems.
first-lack of flash and front camera.
you shouldn't able to use all internal memory.only 100mb for u.
biggest is this...u can't move apps to sd with out rooting..but rooting will void u r warranty...
anyway..it's cute and speed...nice phone...I loved it...

Hi im adams from saudi arabia. Later today i just got my motorola CHARM by mail order from the amazon.com for the price of $130. now my problem is the moment i inserted my simcard. OMG i cannot connect it to my local networks? i was thinking that the mobile was locked or what?(but it says in the reciept its unlocked phone? or perhaps since this mobile is from the USA maybe it cannot be use in any other countries like saudi arabia? PLEASE..CAN ANYBODY OUT THERE HELP ME ON WHAT TO DO? thanks.

I got this phone about a year ago, and so far it has been great! The only problem I had with it was that the battery would die SO fast! I would keep it on sleep, and after 7 hours or so, it would be dead. I don't even open it ONCE during those 7 hours, it's on sleep the whole time. But it would just die. Then i asked someone who also had the phone, and they said to use the other battery (it comes with 2 batteries, one is bigger than the other), so i put in the other battery (the bigger one) instead of the smaller one, and it's awesome now! It doesn't die when it's on sleep or anything. I would highly recommend this phone, just use the bigger battery. Best phone I've had. Texting is super easy and the keyboard is excellent! The camera of it isn't the best, but that's not a big problem.

This is simply a great phone, for office use too (tough it has motoblur but still) and otherwise too. they keyboard the touchscreen everything is great and decen battery life. yes you can to video streaming, and also supports almost all messengers as well as facebook. A great phone. bt yes it doesnt have a secondary camera but its ok, otherwise its simply one of the best. Hope motorola make more phones like this.
