Infact, even my home phone is smaller than this brick. At least you won't need a gun to rob someone. You could just throw this at someone's head and you'll knock the living daylights out of them!!!!!
I bought this phone two weeks ago and i use it now. It is very funny especially the antenna! Who needs cameras' radios mp3 blueteeth clock alarm and phones the size of a matchbox; I LOVE BRICKS!!!
it's a long time ago, now we have colour, cameras, games, bluetooth on and on but in the future people will think this stuff is old and there will be new things invented.
Mine was a C520, but I'm sure it's 99% similar to the D520. My first mobile phone, and a very good one. Did away with it because I couldn't properly charge the battery anymore. But other than that, no problem! It definitely turned me into a motofreak ....
it was my first phone. And was perfect. In this time i can only smile.
its bigger than my cordless phone @ home lol realy im surprised if someone would even buy it well if you sell it you might get half a doller
Re: the comment by "Jim"
Thanks! That's the funniest thing I've seen all day, you're either a total genius or a moron of unprecedented calibre. Either way, you rock!
for comment below, you must of been 3 when this phone came out to post a comment like that, this phone was a 98 best seller and of course it doesn't have a camera nothing did until 2003!
180m of talk??? motorola is crazy??? whos gonna buy this phone? its monochromatic display and has no cam, not even GPRS haha motorola is a joke
Please Sir my motorola d520 is in a language i do not understand. Could you kindly help me to return this phone in the English Language.
Thank you in advance as i hope you will sure do something to help the situation.
my first phone ever .i had it for nearly 3 years .it dropped in water once but worked for another 3 months till it died. much respect!!
My sister had this phone years ago and it was the most unreliable piece of junk I've ever seen. It frequently lost connection even in areas where my first phone (a horrible ancient Nokia) kept fantastic reception on the same network, it had atrocious battery life and couldn't be relied on not to switch itself off at random - and usually deeply inconvenient! - times!
The best use for this badly-engineered and outdated piece of equipment is as a doorstop or burglar deterrent. It's an electronic shambles.
Don't be fooled into thinking this will provide you with reliable communications access. It won't.
dabadabadab!!!...i have this phone (growl),i use it to messege Ann Darrow. Yoooooeeeee!
This was my first phone ever!i have a lot of fond memories of my phone...dare u say anything to this phone, i shall climb yr roof top and do a tribal dance while listening to MP4 songs on my moto..i stared in a remake of a movie solely shot on d520...it shoots dvd quality videos.
