here is the review.....of the defy plus vs sony xperia active......this should be helpfull.....
Can anyone confirm available memory in DEFY+.
Because according to offical tech specification page on Motorola site its 1 GB and for DEFY its 2 GB.....
I do not understand what all these smartphone manufacturers are upto..Every smartphone which has a processor above 800Mhz should have a front camera...Every other phone whatever I liked till date doesnt have a front camera...Damn those people who design specifications for smartphones..Front camera is the basic necessity these days...
is it good? what bout bugs does it still have em like the old defy ? is it really life proof ? please somebody help me. m thinking to buy it in this coming week
Got it for a week now and I can say its a nice piece, fast, reliable. Have no problems so far.
Javier, 19 Nov 2011I'm very interested in this phone, but I've heard a lot of people complaining that it doesn't ... moreCM7 for Defy / Defy+ is much more stable. Recommend flashing CM7 as soon as you unpack your defy!
I'm very interested in this phone, but I've heard a lot of people complaining that it doesn't work as expected. It reboots, it hangs or doesn't respond when a call arrives. And for example there are hundreds of australians roaring against Motorola for the phone and its warranty conditions:
complaining about the old defy (non plus) model but in october 2011 some of them are still complaining about the earphone issue that Motorola had officially solved. A lot more other people say that the screen spontanouly cracks or the phone phones people at random from time to time by itself
Some other people say that this is quite a good phone that works perfectly.
Everyone but a couple of user reviews here is good for the phone.
Maybe there are different batches of phones and depending on your luck, you get a good or a bad item. Don't know...
And yes, the defy Plus is not the defy, BUT it's almost the same with a couple of improvements. is it possible that there are different batches?
Can Anybody tell me whether text reflow option is available in this phone.... I saw in Motorola Defy that option is not there ie the browser is not fitting into the window after zooming, we need to scroll left and right inorder to read a paragraph... This is the only thing stopping me from buying the phone .... Please help ...
After reading the gsm area comments.. It is a good phone in the rugged phones category
But i am facing a problem with defy+
It automatically restarts,
When i attend a incoming call phone restarts randomly but not every time.
Is this problem anyone facing? any solutions?
suggest me the best latest android mobile. I prefer to buy moto DEFY+ . is there are any other mobiles better than defy+
Ron, 13 Nov 2011SE neo V is looking very nice than Defy+ as neo V has same screen size, has HDMI port,Mobile Br... moreSE Neo V is not in the same category as this phone.
Not water resistant
Not dust proof
Not sand proof
Not gorilla glass
Not silicon back for grip and comfort
IP67 certification for the Moto vs none for the SE
1700 mAh battery in Moto vs 1500 mAh only for the SE.
Btw, with that super slippery back of the SE, that phone will just fall to the grown on a daily basis. Looks nice on photo, but in reality it's a big fail. Super slippery, fat collecting gloss. Bring a cloth with you wherever you go, or thicken it up with a back plate.
Also, the rear camera lens right in the middle of there your hands are. What were SE thinking?
It's also 1cm longer the the Defy.
wah07, 11 Oct 2011I highly doubt they will do a review. I have tried searching for defy+ threads on the net and ... morereview off Defy plus
SE neo V is looking very nice than Defy+ as neo V has same screen size, has HDMI port,Mobile Bravia Engine, great processor than Defy+,almost same price, has a front camera and 720p video recording.
So I'll going to buy this neo V.Surely this neo V is better than defy+.
