nicksti, 14 Sep 2009Honestly, how many WinMo 6.5 devices you have actually used? I have used HTC WinMo 6.1 devi... moreI haven't tried WM6.5 either, though my experience with WM6.1 on my Moto A3100 isn't exactly pleasant to the point as soon as MB220 is available, I'll trade-in my A3100 for it.

I understand WM O/S is designed for high levels of customization. However, from my personal experience, lots of "basic" stuff simply not available on WM6.1 (vs. WM6.0 on my Moto Q9), for examples:

- language cannot be switched between Chinese and English

- if the phone runs on English O/S, I cannot view some Chinese websites

- need additional software to use MP3 as alarm clock. (even most sub-US$100 Moto phones offer such function by default!)

really like the placement of d pad, would've been nice if it were a optical trackpad.

Neater design than HTC and samsung andriod phone. Need to wait for pricing and mb230 also LG is having a similar design. Hope moto beat LG to the market .

Reasonable price - most Android-based phones from other top-notch manufacturers are overpriced, so very people venture to try out this new OS.

A likable design with a strong youthful appeal

3.5 mm audio jack

Decent display

MOTOBLUR - we haven't seen it yet, but sounds
promising, plus any modification of Android's default functionality is definitely a plus

Pretty comfortable QWERTY keyboard

5 MP camera with autofocus

A complete set of connectivity options

But naturally, the most crucial point is its price - you could find a lot of shortcomings in the DEXT, but all of them will be negated by its magic "150 Euro" price tag. All things considered, it looks like this phone will be great value for its money.

Now for the bundled memory: 512 Mb of flash memory, 256 Mb of RAM and a microSD memory card slot onboard (up to 32 Gb, located beneath the battery cover, but doesn't require you to actually remove the battery to swap cards), coupled with 1 Gb of memory for user data. As far as I'm concerned, the DEXT packs in enough RAM to cope with any task.

Anonymous, 15 Sep 2009The 800x480 resolution matters alot when you use TV-out!!!In addition, when you want setup applications’ and java games you can see 800*480 is not standard and there is no application for that and when you browsing websites with 800*480you must see very small pixels in that display
800*480 in 3.5 inches without zooming software in browser: D
