Raja Moto, 27 Dec 2010What does it mean by for verizon? ....I'm not sure how much clearer it could be, the phone was made specifically for Verizon, a mobile carrier in the US. you couldn't even take the 5 seconds to google that simple text to find out for yourself?!?
the talk time is wrong. 8 h 20 min is only when the phone is on CDMA mode. talk time is only rated at 7 h 10 min when on GSM mode.
Can you use this phone with the verizon data only and have a tmobile sim for calling after you unlock it?
Raja Moto, 27 Dec 2010What does it mean by for verizon? Verizon Wireless is the the Largest cellular service provider within the United States. This phone (along with other "Driod" phones) are all designed to work with their networks. This phone is a Verizon exclusive, however I'm sure in the upcoming months the GSM version will be released.

Are those only the advantages of... moreAgain, the Droid 2 Global was designed for Americans, who mostly use the CDMA system (vs. GSM) and the main selling point of Droid 2 Global is its ability to roam overseas with the same phone for CDMA users.
For those already living GSM countries, unless you absolutely need the 1.2Ghz processor, otherwise Droid 2 Global and Milestone 2 are practically the same.
Keep in mind if you get a Droid 2 Global, you would need to get it unlock, usually costs around US$30.

Are those only the advantages of Droid 2 Global over the Milestone 2?
I can't decide whether to buy the Milestone 2 or the Droid 2 Global. As far as I can see, they don't have that much difference in the specs. So now my decision goes down with the prices. Is Milestone 2 really just 290 EUR (according to GSM Arena's info)? Because if both phones almost have the same prices, I think I'll go for the Droid 2 Global. Any suggestions?
