Motorola Android Touch UI

Last month we came across some leaked hands-on images of the upcoming Motorola DROID 4 smartphone, showing the new DROID RAZR-esque design paired with the signature slide-out QWERTY keypad.

Today we have some official images of the handset and a specification chart, courtesy of Droid Life. These images show us that the new DROID 4 does look strikingly similar to the DROID RAZR as long as it is closed. Even the back has a similar look with a bump at the top that has become common on the DROID handsets.

Under the display is a spacious looking full QWERTY keypad with a white backlight that shines through the gaps between the keys.

As for the specifications, the DROID 4 has a 4.0-inch qHD display with Gorilla Glass protection, dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, 'HD" front facing camera, 4G LTE connectivity and a 1,785mAh battery. Unfortunately, the phone will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread instead of the new Ice Cream Sandwich.

You can check out the rest of the specifications and images in the source link below.
