Vi, 16 Oct 2012hi
i torn between this phone and the samsung s3, i love good phones but i prefer a better bat... mores3 = Li-Ion 2100 mAh
razr maxx = Li-Ion 3300 mAh
so if you want battery, you definitely want to go with razr maxx..as per performace,i have motorola razr xt910..im satisfied with it..the only diff between razr maxx and razr xt910 is battery(as far as im concerned)
interms of performance, i believe that razr is better than S2 but not sure about S3..maybe not :-p

This phone is exactly what I wanted! What is the point of a phone if runs out of battery? You might as well bring a phone shaped piece of wood with you. I was almost going to get this one but I realised that they're making a razr maxx hd. That one's mine.
Your point of view like why we need a car for. Instead of that just buy a bicycle and it does everything we need for moving around. Why do we need a car because it fast, comfortable. That why we need a smartphone.
Raash, 06 Aug 2012Well, Having a battery like this is great. But, there are a few things i would like to know. ... moreYour point of view like why we need a car for. I was confused with Droid RAZR MAXX and RAZR MAXX. Same outer appearance but found some differences thank to gsmarena and MOTOASK.
New RAZR MAXX has a big battery and can talk more hours.
AnonD-67589, 20 Aug 2012Just saw a article which says this phone has 10hrs of battery life.. Totally going to buy this... moreThank you Eliza for sharing this great post.
This is really interesting and great tips to extend the battery life.
I heard that the newest version of Droid is coming in September 2012. As I heard it is "Motorola Droid M" and the smaller version of Droid RAZR. I saw this news in MOTOASK but will wait till Motorola to release this good news :)
I'M on my 8th phone in 3 years because yes, I'M A PHONE ADDICT, however I have found the perfect device, bar none. Every phone you can find issues with but you would be hard pressed to find anything wrong with this, I was a HTC man until now. If you are like me and just want a all-around good sounding, good video playback, perfect size screen and a phone you will never have to have a car charger to run a phone for a simple 24hr Day than here it is. PERIOD.

This is one of the best phones ever. But it is bit expensive compared to similar products. I was waiting for few weeks to see a change of the prices but didn't happen it. I got some details about updates and apps from motoask and droid forums.
Just to let you know guyz, the offical ICS update for the razr maxx is coming around the end of this month. I hope they are just fixing the bugs that they experienced in the US. Anyway i love the device. I am amazed by the build quality except the lock button, that is a bit shaky. The screen is amazing. As i had an htc one x before i can assure you, that the biger screen and the higher resolution dose not give more after the first couple of days than the motorola's one does.
Good device, highly recommended. If only it was cheaper...
Raash, 06 Aug 2012Well, Having a battery like this is great. But, there are a few things i would like to know.
... moreHi Raash
This phone is simply awesome, the speaker sounds really loud and clear, the camera quality is not the best as a Sony camera can be but is just great and the battery don't get hot with heavy usage, as I understand is actually the chipset but as I know this happen to all the smartphones with dual core chipsets or even quad core when you demand them to really work, you can read a little bet about heat on chipsets and understand it better
Well, Having a battery like this is great. But, there are a few things i would like to know.
1- Music player experience?
2- Camera Clarity?
3- Battery gets hot while browsing or not?
Come on guys, why do we need a battery that lasts longer? Coz we need to utilize all the resources that the phone offers us. If the phone can't deliver that much of entertainment(Music preferably) , then what would be the need for such a heavy battery? I mean, we can use the regular phones for making calls and stuff. In such a case , we wouldn't be requiring a smart phone.!!!
