I can confirm that the long awaited update to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) hit my Droid Turbo OTA today after about 5 PM. Now downloading version 24.81.5.en.US
tdy 00.00 in moscow i get an 6.0 android on my droid turbo from verizon
was using droid ultra and then bought this to upgrade! i am not impressed with what so ever 3gb ram and more battery and yes camera quality is same but resolution increased!
Waste of time. Bought one of these and a Droid Turbo 2. The Droid Turbo lost my wifi signal in the house, when the Droid turbo 2 still had three bars at the same location! Also had a problem connecting and making phone calls on Simple Mobile (T-mobile network), when the Droid Turbo 2 worked perfectly. The best part was trying to find a case that fit. Motorola decided to make this model (XT1254) in three, different sized bodies (transparent metallic Kevlar; nylon ballistic, and a European Moto Maxx). Hardly any cases fit the slightly-larger nylon ballistic model. Don't waste your time. Get the better Droid Turbo 2 which has a better antenna, better software, better technology, and can actually make phone calls on other networks other than Verizon (even though the Droid turbo is supposedly also an unlocked phone, it is not "fully" unlocked).

No update marsh 6.0 in pakistan yet. How long will have to wait more?
Others have commented positively on the quality of the Droid turbo. I absolutely agree. It was a very good device two years ago and it's still a good device. I have absolutely no reason to replace it. Motorola did a great job. I remember that this phone was the last designed by and during the Google regime.
Just tried to force the update, but Verizon tells me that I already have the most recent version. Patience is required. I wonder if they will eventually get to nougat?
Anonymous, 04 Dec 2016I love this phone's hardware and specs although I cannot stand the constant software updates a... moreI hate updating as well. but what I do to avoid the irritation, I tell my phone to update overnight. this way. I don't have to wait for my phone to finish because I'm sleeping. (and trust me. It's SO annoying to be without a phone while it's OS upgrading. -_-)
