Regarding the pixellated wallpapers...I found the same and discovered that wallpapers resized, to the phones display size (320x240), on the PC and uploaded to the phone (I did it using the transflash card) look much crisper than large photos taken with the phone camera (even at best/high qualty) that are then resized by the phone to fit the screen. So i'd suggest using your preferred photo editing software to resize images to 320x240 on your pc.
Hope that helps.
Hi...Allow me to try to solve your problem...:> You can try to do like this : click "camera", "Picture setup", Under lighting conditions choose "Automatic", Resolution choose "High(1.2Mp), Quality choose "Best". If you have to take a picture at dark place, you can go to Pictures menu, choose "light on", if will be have light behind your phone and u can just take that picture...cool...If one day u go to cinema, couldn't find your seat, just turn the light on too....But if u forget to turn off..hehe...Dont blame it low battery life..
This phone is cheap but have so many nice features...learn how to manage it, it will benefits you....can let you capture a really nice picture at a lighting place, you can see it really beautiful and clear especially when you send it to your email and view through your computer...Try it, you will believe...
Mr Rola, a new Motorola User...
can anyone tell me how can i install aGPS on my motorola and how can i increase the camera quallity? Please HELP!!!!
Hi, I have a E1000. I really love it. However, Wallpaper pictures are pixelated. I don't really have a super good quality for wallpaper. That happens only when I put it on "fit to screen". If anyone know a trick to make wallpaper look better, I will highly appreciate. THANK YOU
If you guys turn off the bluetooth and screensaver, the battery will last long.
For those whom experiencing slow responses in the key input and browsing MP3 or other function, just take note that it is due to your Transflash Card problem. Mine is due to the card and after replacing the card under warranty...the problems is gone. Nothing to do with software unless the new card is also posing the same. It will be nice if Motorola can comes out with a higher capacity battery to enchance the standby days of the phone. Overall good verdict for the phone.
Hi! I bought this phone a mounth ago and I like it so much: good display, blitz, stereo speakers, etc. I am dissapointed with the camera quality and battery life. Can someone tell me how can i increase the camera quality. And what soft do I need to transfer files via bluetooth (phone->pc)?
i bought an motorola e1000, and i don't regret for this option. cheerz
Since get hold of the phone 3 days ago, it performs to it true capability and the phone is real solid. But experiencing slow response when browsing the TransCard for MP3 songs. Otherwise, it works perfectly. Downloading of contents thru GPRS is fast since 3G services in not availbale at my district. Major setback is the short battery life when doing lots of sms, listening to MP3 and recording video. Final verdict is that the phone is good with minor disadvantages which is better than SE K600i and Samsung Z500 which having a small screen. Hopefully Motorola will comes out with longer lasting battery than the current one that comes originally with the phone.
can soeone please tell me if you can get the clock to display permanantly, after my wall paper times out the screen goes blank, just like it has been turned off!!!
Can someone tell me how to transfer java games to my mobile as i have about 650 games and cant do it by bluetooth. Is there any special way? Please help
Hey guys I hear there is a way to sort your phones Battery life out! Your phone Need a software upgrade. They should do this for u under guarantee. I have not done it to my phone yet because I want the application loader installed and my mms size increased to 300k so I have to send my phone to another town down here (South Africa). Hoping this will sort out all the problems. Pitty we can't buy a phone like a PC and then load what we want on it.
I'd like to know a something about this phone.
What is wrong with the battery? Is it a glitch on some phones or is it on all of the e1000s? And if it can be fixed where can i find the SOFTWARE UPGRADE?
To Simply fed up,
Pitty to your experience of using this phone...I am lucky than you, I didnt have this problem now, this phone is with me for everyday, everytime when it rings, everyone envies me as got such lovely MP3 rigntone... I am proud of having this phone. This is just your phone u r carrying now got problem, dont insult this good phone, be responsible to what u said...If u dont like this phone , just pass it to someone who like to be the owner, stop making unnecessary noise...
Mr Motorola friend
This is the worst phone ever...the fundamental design is stupid...its amazing how many good reviews it gets...are you people blind... what about the battery life.. the badly designed connector for the charger which you always have to fiddle with ....what about those frustrating "unable to charge" prompts when the phone refuses to charge... what about the faulty software which freezes up...what about the syncing software which does not work....
i know what insider is talking about... cuz i personally contacted motorola myself.. and they of course referred me to the network...
i should have stuck with my old nokia 3310 solid as a rock.... to hell with 3g... to increase in value ...no increase in quality of life... not worth it...
then again that could be the networks fault....
sorry i tell it like it is!
I just got this phone this week and its amazing.I had a nokia 6260 and this is much better, only problem so far is the battery life, as i have to charge it every night and im afraid ill burn the battery out in no time.Does anyone know how to fix this?
It's on the back of the phone under a cover, near your sim card! Sorry Just had to say. The battery life is bad. I gotta charge my phone every day. I hear there is a software upgrade that motorola can do that sorts the problem out. I know someone with nokia 6680 and he have the same battery life. I think it's just the big display and 3G that eats it away
