Great phone, i'm on 3, all is well, about 18megs inbuilt mem, great sound and graphix, using motorola phonetools to upload my mp3s/pix etc which is fine, but games? using 'midway' to upload them to the phone (if compatable) all in all feels good looks good sounds great!
I've just bought the Motorola E1000 and am a Mac user, with Bluetooth connection I've transfered an mp3 to the phone but it says it's corrupt, I've tried wav file format but it doesn't recognise it. Unable to create wma's, what do I do????
i am going to buy this phone i was just woundering if you make it dual band can o2 network still work i also own a motorola E398 i was woundering can you still use the same data cable for the motorola E1000
Recently purchased a new battery as the one suplied is very poor indeed, well its rubbish. A good battery with long life is the Motorola BX610 up to 8 days standby or 7 hours talk time price around £31.00
why does this fone doesnt recognize .wav files?does anybody encounter thesame problem?does this fone run symbian based applications?how can i run the mp3 player?battery life is poor, around 1day and a half on a minimal usage,do i have the same problem as anyone?how can i zoom images when im viewing saved pics?does anybody know about the IM service?
I've uploaded 3GP and MP4 video files to phone, both play fine but you will need to get a converter to change AVI files to these formats. 256Mb card is largest i've found and you can put 2 full length movies on it. Can't get the AGPS function to work, might not be possible in UK
The camera does have a timer which has differnt timer setting if a remember.
Hi, have some questions about this phone:
1. how speed is files transfer when you have a tflash memory? Is there any file size limit?
2. I heard pictures taken with e1000 are farly worst than ones taken with nokia 6630, is it true?
3. How's battery life?
And that is all, at the moment. Please, answer me if you can, thank you. :)
e1000 is not a smartphone...it uses the moto proprietry os not symbian or mobile windows
the people stating this are obviously wrong
Have seen on forums that the E1000 is a smartphone..do not see the O.S. mentionned..????

David, your posting on 25thMAR. Go to new message, push the middle/menu botton, go to entry set-up, you can change to tap entry there. I have a question, my emails are trunctated 'cause too long which renders it useless, only a few lines and it includes rubbish so no msge really. However, I'm prompted to 'copy all text - yes/no' so it may be that the full email is saved somewhere, do anybody know where this is stored or if any settings can be changed so emails can be read in full?
This is THE BEST PHONE EVER!!! And I have tested them all!. Brilliant/ SUPERB sound & screen, so crips and clear! Precise keypad and a LOVELY joystic. Everything is great about this phone, even sms go's much faster then with my earlier Nokia 6230 & SE K700i. Keep up the good work, Motorola :-) Here is a link for download:
