The Video recorder from the K700 is also unlimit.And i think that the E398 cannot direct record too the MMC.

Is a old feature,the K700 has it too.

I tink i gonna sell my 3100
n T610 in favour of E398.
It's a SGD200 bucks price
diff between k700 and e398! I'd wanna try Moto.. don't quite like the
lagg of T610 sms, even after firmware
upgd (hence i got 3100). juz wondering... why wanna radio n poly tones, when u can play
mp3 and use it as yr ringtone? beside..
from wad i know.. k700 doesn't have expansion slots (though it has a whopping memory for a hp)

was up in the moto station this am, inquiring about flashing and flexing my phone to the more recent version. They mentioned that if there was nothing wrong with the phone, dont mess with the s/w because there were instances wherein the phone's function was altered with the change in the s/w and the owners regretted it. Apparently, the s/w upgrades is Motorola's solution to fixing defective phones, so guys, if it ain't broke, dont fix it. Also, don't store too many picture files in your phone memory since it is one of the reasons why the phone lags. Happy Moto!

i love this phone, it satisfies me ^^ also my friend told me it has good vibration which turns you one, so u can pick up the god damn phone quicker. SHAOTANG family forever~~

Can any1 give me a link or write them selves how to get my phone to work. I have windows XP home with SP2, MPT 3.19e. when I install the phone as a modem and use p2k drivers or any other drivers it says that the device will not work correctly. Any help?

i'll also add that when i plug the phone windows says it can't identify it. but if i turn the PC on and off while it is still pluged in it says found new hardware e398 and it installs. When i open mpt after it is installed it still cannot find the phone.

To Kelvin and Tarun-as of now, the only way you could enable video recording on this phone is to flash it with software from the V620...but you will lose the ability to use the transflash card if you do this.

got it last week. it's a very nice phone. good performance and rubberised case has a pleasant touch to it. hopefully it will offer some protection fron nicks & scratches. haven't yet used all of phone's features, but camera is really good.
one problem though ( man-made)- i let my teen cousin play with it & rascal wiped out all the ringtones from phone's memory. i'm stuck with "hello moto" grettings. any way to recover what i lost?

I cant get mpt to talk to my phone have have downloaded a sh!t load of drivers and still get nowear. can some 1 give me a step by step guide, or refur me to a guide.
