i found the code. it is 000000. but there is a sign appearing in the upper part of the screen. it means line 1 is active (a reciever with number 1 next to it). i can't make it disappear. does somebody know a solution to that problem?

is it true that if you flash to 97r you lose the ability to use the t-flash but you can capture video?

To Charlie-Hmm...if they're giving you a new one that shouldn't be a problem...I've had mine for five months and no problems at all.

To Smooth-so they do have the new flash at Motozone...so all I have to do is bring my phone there with my receipt and I can get the software upgrade for free?

To Robert-the instructions are too long....go to www.howardforums.com and search through the many threads there and you'll find out everything you need to know about flashing.

To Unknown-the sluggish menus can be solved with a firmware upgrade so the phone being slow is no longer a problem.

to Vict, hi, i have 95R installed and one of the reasons i didn't upgrade my phone to 97R is you need to flash your phone. I download games, skins, themes or play with menus by using some programs (i.e. p2kman,pst,midway,hex, and a couple more) but don't really wanna flash my phone. It's pretty much same thing you are formatting your pc and then reinstalling everything from zero. The other reason i'm don't have 97R is, you will have video recording if you upload e398 to 97R but at the same time you won't be able to use your t-flash card. So, if one wants to give up using their t-flash card to have video recording that's up them. And lastly, i could say i bought E398 for it's very good screen, stereo speakers and expansion slot. I'm not into phone camera that much, and rather use my Canon digicam instead :D. Now, waiting for Samsung to release it's nice phone SPH-V5400 with 1.5 gigabyte memory and could raise the capacity up to 10GB with OLED display on external screen. I hope my answers were helpful.

thanks for your reply ^-^*. Look for Benjie in Motozone. He is the IT there. He gave me a R2D2 ringtone that I now use as my text alert.

I recently got this handset from t-mobile and every thing was going smooth. I loved it and thought it was way better looking than my mates nokia 66 summit. All was going well till my mate bluetoothed back to me a vid which i had accidently moved to his phone instead of copied. When I came to play it the screen was corrupt then the phone locked up. I took out the battery put it back in and the bloody thing is dead. It just wont turn back on and I am pissed off. Only had it two weeks. Now its gotta go back to shop and i'm told i'll get a new one. But what if it happens again.. Anybody else had this prob. Just to add there was plenty of memory for it ..

To Reny-transflash cards are available at very affordable prices on eBay...the phone supports wav files, can be upgraded regularly, and is much better than the K700i.

To Teh-It doesn't have T9, it's got iTap. It's almost like T9 except T9 is a bit easier to use.

To U_mistify_me-try making another playlist...the file's just probably corrupted.

To Momoko-It does take 3-4 hours to fully charge...the only way to set the smart key back to voice dial is to do master reset...I think, I'm not sure if you can do this by changing the flex/flash.

To Marius-actually, I think it's the software that's slow, not the processor since a firmware upgrade significantly reduces lag.

To Simon-flash is available all over the net...or if you want it done legally, go to a service center near you.

To Vict-Where are you from? You didn't say so I couldn't tell you any place since I don't know where you are.

To Christian-not yet...I'm not yet sure if 97R has video recording...it can be enabled though by using the flash from the V620.

Simon, if you give me your e-mail i can send you 95R Flash file and 7F Flex file right away. If you need games i can send to games to anyone. I'm using E398, too, and very glad to have it.
