hi guys!
m a new user of the E398 and i do encountered some problems that maybe some of you experienced already and may help me resolve it.
i transfered a picture via bluetooth from a friend's k700i to my e398. i was able to accept it and when i tried opening it...an error msg says "too large to open". i also encountered this same problem when i tried to transfer a pic from pc to my moto. any clues on this? does motorola have a file size limit or resolution limit on the pics it can display?

I'm still thorn between a v180 , a v300 , a v547 and this (e398) .. what keeps me from buying it is only that it's a bit bulky , while other's small dimesion is quite attractive .... what do you other guys think about it ?
If it only had a white cover i would have been more convinced.. the black cover it's so bulk..

has anyone encountered a problem with the phone getting quite warm? i have never had this happen with any other model.....

To Francesco-This phone has the best audio among all GSM phones available today...regarding the earphones, sound quality is average but it's pretty easy to use better headphones...you just need a 3.5mm to 2.5mm converter. As for the software, it's a bit sluggish at times, specially when you play mp3s but that has ben resolved with the new firmware...it doesn't lag as much anymore.
To Preetkk-as far as I know, the package comes with the phone, the battery, a 64mb transflash card with an SD adapter, a CD containing the software and some other stuff you could put into the phone, the earphones, and the manual.

please anyone could tell if this phone has decent audio , stereo also in earphones and if it's fast or sluggish slow software .. I have to decide if to get one or not before tomorrow , i don't want a slow phone....

It should come with a USB Cable and a CD with the software.

4 the driver thing, if u've install p2k app. u'll find the driver tat is needed in there.

if u r using older ver of s/w u can't chg it back 2 voice dial.
u've 2 master reset it, then only it'll b chg back 2 it's original

i've just uploaded a winxp theme 2 my fone fr

there is Start~up n Power~down sound in it but i can't get the Power~down sound 2 work
i only manage 2 get the start up sound works
i've uploaded both the sounds to the audio folder wt p2k
i deleted the original Start~up sound n replace it.
i can't find the Power~down sound, so i just uploaded it but it doesn't work
can any 1 tell me how 2 do it

well I have a problem. after flashing to 95r and flexing to 7f it has the usb to memory card option. so I set the usb setting to memory card but when I plug it to my computer it asks for a driver. what do I do? I use win98
