Which Softwares we can use ?????

Damn.. Stv ~ could you please tell me what good would it do if you could be able to record videos?? They would look crappy anyhow, and on a low res... and will be short.. so what's the use???
All these people whining about the lack of video capture.. if you WANT video capture, then go buy a CAMERA! Or a 1000$ phone, so that you can actually do SOMETHING with the recorder..
The phone is great.. the screen looks nice, the overall aspect is nice.. the menu is a little.. well.. childlish.. but not very much. It does lag a little when viewing videos and more when playing MP3.
And about the MP3 player.. it's great.. i wasn't interested as much in the dual stereo speakers as i was in listening to the headphones.. and i have to say that both work very good.. The speakers are loud and sound very good and the headphones even more so (i like listening to music in the headphones either way)
The camera takes some nice pictures. I can't compare it with T630 as i do not own one but you could search this site for the review of E398 and look at some pics taken with this phone and decide which one's better.

E398 ..... i so regreat buy the e398 ..
the mp3 song quit nice n the 3d speaker is good but ... the phone weekness can't record video ~ n the phone sometime open picture file will lag !! shlt tat e398 alos no program 4 e398 the price can buy nokia 6600 lo ~ oh man ....

mp3 can be played on the ordinary headset provided with the phone but not on a bluetooth headset

e398 is not a symbian unlike 6600
e398 is just a normal hp with expansion slot

Richard , at the moment no software are available to record video on a e398 , i depend on my friends phone to record video and transfer it to my e398 or my web cam

hi guys, pls pls help me decide.
i have a nokia 3660 and thinking of changing it with either a e398 or k700.
i don't have a problem with 3660 except that :
1. the image taken from the phone is not very good and e398 has flash to overcome that.
2. the video recording quality is very poor and very small. i have heard of softwares that can increase the limit of video recording but are they the proper solution.
3. the phone seems to just hang sometimes and switching off and on helps.
4. is it advisable to put third party softwares in the phone at about INR 1200/- which increase its functionality to play mp3 etc.

ok, i have many comments for today:
1) the phone specifies when u send a message if u wrote more then 160 letters and u passed into the 2nd sms.
2)quality of mp3 is awesome, im very pleased with it
3)e398 display is better then t630 and almost the best 65k display on mobile phones.
4)u can buy a handsfree with radio from motorola, at a very good price
5)U can't install software for recording on this phone because it isnt a smartphone!!!!!! Ppl, pls make difference between a multimedia phone and a smartphone !!!
6) no equalizer for this phone, but it's nice even without it

to maical, shabbar, or any 1 else who knows quite a bit about this phone : I know this phone does'nt support video recording, but is it possible for me to install a software or sumthing to enable me to record? please help ... not being able to record videos is a big drawback for me.

-this has almost all the features of the 6600 except video record and the ability to have programs installed on it as this one does not run on symbian
