can anyone help me everytime i call my voicemail i get a text message with the subject (@) what is that? Where can i get it reprogramed and where did all of you get to upgrading and modifying it? anyone can help please please email me thanks.

How do you install java games & apps on this phone? I accidentally deleted all built-in games and the mp3 player :( Could anyone tell me where I can find the mp3 player ?

The price in Indonesia is about Rp900,000-1,000,000 or US$97-108 for used e398 phone. The new e398 is not available at the store.

the phone is quite good but the one things that i want to ask is how to upgrade the phone?? where i can download 4 p2k ?? is the p2k in the mobile phone tools cd's??

I've been flashing my 398 for a long time now, changed skins constantly and practically pushed the unit to its maximum capacity, yet I'm still happy with it. Current gain table's balanced so not to bother the person sitting next to me. The only thing that I just have to live with it is it's FM radio, the headset has to be connected below the unit and is rather annoying as it is sensitive to movement. Plus when playing MP3's, only the right earphone works. Hmm... something to work on later on after work.

i got a modded e 398 it rocks the best thing is it can play music for nearly 16 hrs non stop esp when u switch of the fone ..yes u can listen to the music even after switching ur fone off like u do in sony ericcsson walkman models believe me it rocks

First of all, you buy this phone as a normall phone, hince; it can't videos, it's a mp3 player, the camera poor and so on: Well surprize to you all, this phone is the only phone in the world that can be fully upgraded, for example: My phone uses 1 GB memory card, itunes {skins changeable}, unlimited video recording {till memory card full}, you can modified the funlights, like purple, blue, red, yellow all diferent colours, can change the shell, the camera is pretty and can zoom in and out while videoing, can turn it up, mine is loud to ratid, and you know what I just found out? I just got a equalizer for the sound system and now working on to have radio. trust me there's alot of things new on my phone, so all you people who don't know about this phone. this fone is extremely modable-it can be flashed to the e1 rkr and ave unlimited video based on the size of ur memory card,u can expand the internal memory-its so good and u can edit ur speakers to be much louder and more comparable to new fones.

The software is very slow. Accessing files/tel #/songs by scrolling takes a long time. There is much delay after a button is pressed. There are some issues with the ring volume and it sometimes increases automatically. It has a variety of functions but access to them is sometimes complicated and requires many pathways.

This phone is very good in all sense except that it is SLOW. It is especially irritating when scrolling through songs - it takes years (!). It has a very slow scroll rate.

The instructions on the phone do not show how to download Mp3 songs into the phone.

i buy this phone this year. the battery perfomance not good. it's just 4 hours. the speaker to make sound good.
