sometimes....i think you have to unplug the hp and connect it again..and sometimes you will have to off the hp then on it again.

I have a problem 2: after I install the software from the cd I try to transfer MP3's on the phone , and when I enter MP3 maker a message requesting to connect my phone to the PC appears . So I connect the phone with USB cable and retry but nothin' happens. Got any ideas why ?

The phone's great until I tried to tranfer mp3 files into my phone. It refuses to transfer into my memory card; I already switched device to memory card. Please do advise!!

I'm from Msia. The market price here is RM 1400. I ordered mine a few weeks back and will be getting it soon, my first motorola phone. :)

Just out of curiosity, since prices here are different, What is the actual price in the US(in dollars)?
I am also considering the Mpx220, does anyone know if Windows mobile any good?
The guy at mobile-review.com said that the price would not excedd 450$, but i searched the web and could not find any confirmation? Does anybody have any info

calibro9 look at the conclusion in the review same phone just that button is for a specific carrier T mobile..... like eg: vodaphone

Is there 2 different versions of this phone. Look at the pics of the phone in blue in the review section. Now look at the pics under the motorola section on the left. The blue has an extre button in the middle with a red "T@" on it. What version is this and whats the difference??????

I bought this phone too, nothin amazing about it, but it does its job. Im satisfied with the mp3 player, sound quality is very good.

yes ! I'm now the proud owner of this wonderful device. No need to say it's awesome. Yes, it's a bit slow ( I also use a XDAII, 400 mhz processor..) but it's not that bad. Anyway, how do I quickly set an Mp3 song as a ringtone?

Audacity can be used for editnig the files, howeer i was under the impression that Mobile phone tools could do the same, i will check.

I am not going to buy both phones, if i could do that, i would have done it about a month ago.
Anyway, the series 60 phones are much better than motorola, i know that cause my current phone is a c350. It can really get sluggish at times.
All in all since here in india you get the e398 cheaper as well i will have to dish out about a 100 $ extra for the 7610(I can do this, but why could not they have put better sound quality on the 7610)
Although i have still have to take the final decision about the phones, i have taken the e398 on a 5 day trial, if its okay then i will buy it rightnow, or its the 7610, but then i have to wait a month and a half to get the 7610)

if u wanna make pictures and see video clips - get nokia series 60 phone
series 60 vga camera is much better than motorola.
Also SE k700i has a very good camera.
if i could get 7610 for 350$ and not 600$, i would buy 7610 and moto E398 !!! hehe

This is my first Moto phone! I brought this phone because of the design, the functions, the speakers and the screen. The slick and smart looks, beautiful and large screen and the 3D surround sound really beats Nokia 6230 hands down. I can cut my own MP3 tones for voice call and sms alert. I LOVES THIS PHONE!!! My precious!
