This is the greatest phone ever created.For those of you who complain about it...go hang yourselfs.All you need to do is upgrade the firmware.I hated it when i bought it.Now i love it more than anything.

i had this phone before, bought it in a motorola store. the battery life is good, the mp3 sound is good and the flashing lights on the side was so cool. i loved it back then, only downside is that the camera isn't that good. =(

Hi, guys.... i need some help here ...
I just recently bought this phone...
Just after few days, i started face problem like when i play the mp3 songs and after a while the phone stop the music and show a system error sign... all the mp3 songs cannot be play...
it only can play after a restart...
second, when i in the sounds and switch the storage device to trans.... it show me empty in the sounds and i had to switch unfiled in order to view my mp3 songs.....
So, how can i solve tis problem ..... Need Help here .....!

thanks for you interest man...this phone is actually a great one if you can handle it.
it has lots of hidden feature that can be unloacked, but before that you have to upgrade it's firmware to so called i398 or ROKR E1. it's tricky and needs practice but believe me you can do as i did that. now the features i have
search option in phonebook
install games easily (you copy the jad jar file in memory card and selct install)
install games and software in memory card
Apple iTunes support (supports AAC file)
and most of all IT CAN RECORD VIDEO (WITH EFFECTS)
Improved camera quality
And if you have doubt search the net and justify my claims.......ha ha

my moto e398 had a big problem. the display wasn`t workin, so i took it to the service and they told me that it had a short

tell me the thruth pls, i plan to buy this cell phone e398 but when i read the opinion below,i've read mostly negative feedback about this unit. hmmm... if u want to buy motorola E398
Disadvantages...
- must download programs in order to download games to your handphone (quite difficult)
- no timer
- no video recorder
- difficulty connecting to pc using USB cabble (might be my cable's problem or the computer's or the E398 phone)
but, it is a beautiful phone :D

I tried eMSN from getjar.com and it didn't go.... Poos.... I've seen settings online for it but they don't work either. Anyone else got any ideas?

my phone was working fine for 9 months, but then last night i was transfering a song from my phone to my PC and halfway through the screen started flashing black & white & crashed. now everytime i put the battery back in it says:

-i connected the usb cable & the "new found hardware wizard" appered, but as i don't have the software or drivers for this problem. none of the buttons worked, other than the on/off button, which made the screen go blank, then back to the error code when pressed again. it refuses to turn off, so i have to remove the battery.
does anyone have any idea of what went wrong and how it can be repaired?

Erm,when I buy this phone it is very good but few more months later. When the phone ring the sound of the phone is good but when ring it has vibrates too. The vibration is too powerful so the music which is played will be not so good. What should I do???

Well don't know about the MSN messenger in chat function, I didn't used that but i think you'd better use eMSN (free from www.getjar.com) though I`ve installed that but didn't used that, but I think it'll work better.
