The radio it's don't exist without headphone- radio stereo FM!
The Java existing in 3 mods in the world; and from e398 it's working just 1 mods -not very good...(I forget what... :)) )

nah theres no radio what firmware are people currently running and their flex?
im running R373_G_0E.30.6FR
and runninf flex: Bg_most_wanted.
loving itunes on this phone and this video camera its great the modded firmware :)

A: Compare to what?this only have VGA camera don't compare with the Megapixel one..and u can upgrade the s/w to 99R this s/w is the stable one

No..as far as i know it doesn't have a radio..maybe the radio mean for bluetooth device or for the connection with the motorola fm handsfree radio

hi, i have a e398 and in the lock aplication there is radio! does it have radio?
and one thing...i downloaded games and aplications for this kind of motorola and i don't know how to instal them!
do i need a special software?
please help me!!! thank you

I've used e398 for 5 months, so here are my impressions for the newcomers:
Pro's:
-superb stereo speakers for ringtones and MP3,
-excellent and durable construction,
-good keypad,
-very commendable battery (it lasts 5-6 days of average use, or 2-3 days of heavy usage of the MP3 player or the camera)
Cons:
-lower earpiece volume,
-reception average or below average,
-average camera, especially in comparison to the newer models.
Overall I would give it 7 out of 10.
To Cris: Yes, e398 can play MP3 music continiously. You can do so simply by creating New playlist in the Sounds menu

Ashdu..its one of the best phones for its price.Or..it was:)Very moddable, very stable, very good sound, memory card, reviving in case some modding went wrong. Its a great phone!

I have purchased this phone 7 months ago but now I am having a problem with the sim card reader which I have been waiting for this part since end of January.Can you please help me out maybe you can forward me an e-mail address where I can order this part as I cannot use my phone anymore unless I will get the sim card reader.I have always owned a motorola phone before as in my mind I used to think that these are the best phone people can have but now I'm no longer thinking the same as I'm a bit upset with the kind of service & no parts available.
