once E398 is upgraded to i398, it seems you have a totally new phone. cool itunes, above average video recording. much better than some nokias. improved camera with sharper pictures and functional QUAD band. for this price? no phones can beat this.

This is the best phone so far i had in my life. It HAS ALL what a cool teen needs.It has cool mp3 player with limited storage of 6oMB instead of the 64MB. But still u could transfer up to 10 to 15 songs depending on the file. And a good quality cam with good capabilities.And the bluetooth feature is also useful as u can jus transfer mp3s,videos,MIDItonez,n WALLpapers too... The phone would have been much better if there was video recorder,and also a radio.

My sister wants to buy Motorola E398 ! It is a very nice phone. Can anyone comment on its video recording quality after upgrading to E398i ? What extra features add up after upgrading ? And how many photos can be taken after the battery is charged once ? How many MP3 can be stored ?

this phone is the best i ever had. cool features, large memory, crisp audio. i just wish the battery was good enough to use and appreciate the cool features. my battery always dies on me after i listen to all my mp3 music.

hey bAby go to letsmoto.com and download all those applications and then install them on ur phone again... you need to have activated the java application loader in ur phone for that tho. if u havent let me know...

had the same problem this morning but just set the date back to june 30 2005 and reboot your phone,it will work again. i can livewith an icorrect date as long as i have i tunes and video recorder hahahaha

Well, i398 is just e398 with NEW monster pack of shoey installed. it now has video recording capabilities, italso is now like an ipod becuase you can sync it with pc to download itunes music , camera is excellent, sound has more bass and more stereo. besides that, nothing more.

I just dont know the reason some phones end up dead after doing to i398. its my first time and i was successfull. I now feel i have a totally new phone LOL ! My tip is you print the instruction manual of shoey, go over it .be sure your pc is 100%ok,and the files you downloaded are ok.
