The best BT headset ever !!!!!!!! Great sound with no interrupt even when I walk to other room without the mobile phone!
E680 and E680i have FM Radio hardware. You don't need extra radio headset. You can play the FM Radio, mp3 songs, even videos from the phone.
E680i even has Stereo Bluetooth headset support (HT 820), a nice piece with old school style. :-)
This mobile is fabolus first time i m like motorola because memory slots & i want to buy as soon as i didn't its prize but i really awaited to buy a motorola e680i in india
Anybody know if any of the North American carriers are going to wake up and start carrying this type of phone??
Can you listen to the radio, on the integrated speakers, I’ve read on one site that you need an optional radio headset?
Anyone tried it, thanks in advance.
Yes, this phone lacks a keypad. :-) Programs/applications for E680 and E680i are available on forums, such as Motorola Fan Club (www.rcsc.sisrs.com/mfc) or the Chinese ccmove (www.ccmove.com). This is an excellent phone, guyz. I've go the E680, and am still very happy with it. As for the headset issue, don't worry, this phone has an autoanswer feature, so you do not even need to touch your handset. If you are listening to mp3 or FM radio or watching movies, the player will pause, automatically answer the call, and after the call ends, it automatically resumes the audio/video-playing. This phone roxxx!!!
One of the bad thing of PDA phone is have to use two hand for writing sms. Is there a software in this market for typing sms just like the normal Nokia phone so that can operate the phone in One Hand?
This phone already available in Singapore? By the way, is all the codeless headset can be use with this phone? Is there a small codeless headset in the market and about how much is it?
Hi Guys this is the phone i am looking for need some help would linux support applications of Nokia 6600 eg: FE explore call cheater etc, if someone could tell me what is linux and its compatibility for downloads also wanted to know when can this phone be available in INDIA.
I've read that there is a Black color version for this mobile, can anyone show me a link for that color.
....I want to buy the Black one, not the silver.
i thing to confirm is that when listening to mp3 songs with the wireless headphones, phone rings... don know if we can answer the phone with the headphone.... if cannot then is a waste... imagine... listening to mp3 songs with the wireless headphone suddenly phone rings... then got to remove the headphone then take the call from the handset... damm man....
even if the wireless headphone can listen to phone call... does it have a button to accept phone calls?? if no, then if the phone is in the bag... then u in a crowded bus... standing... imagine u got to quickly dig the bag for the phone just to press the answer button.... then is not good.... -_-"
i think the only thing good about this phone is the wireless handphone which u can use to listen to mp3 songs... best!!
does anyone know when E680i will be in Singapore market? I checked with 3 mobile phone companies, but they said that this had not out yet
I think the motorola e 680i is a very good phone im getting it very soon cause my contact runs out so i will tell u what it is like soon
I think this cell phone is very well made as it combines a wide variety of features into a moderatly sized cellular phone, with great design characteristics to match.
I feel that this phone has all of witch you could want/need in a cell phone, although just lacking in how "powerful" the features actually are...eg. only VGA camera and only 65k colour screen. Maybe the next model in this Motorola Series will be able to pursue these upgrades.
Overall I feel it is a very successfull cellphone.
How E680i different to E680 :
- New firmware.
- More 3D Games.
- Integrated docs (doc, xls, pdf, ppt, jpg, web) viewer.
- Opera HTML Browsing.
- Tasks/meetings are displayed on home screen.
- Stereo bluetooth headset (means, wireless audio-playing?).
- Extended bluetooth capabilities.
Some say that the 2 gigs card support is actually supported by E680 also, but when it was released, there was no 2 gigs card.
Motorola should've really put a 1.3 MP camera on E680i. That would be a nice thing to have. :-)
