I have a piece of advice for anyone who is considering purchasing this phone: don't do it. In the majority of cases, it's a faulty product and how it passed quality control is beyond me.
The majority of the devices have major screen issues. While some may not be bothered by them, to experience such a problem on an expensive device such as this is quite frankly horrifying and unacceptable. Users have said that they've encountered the same problems with up to four different replacement devices.
This is a major, MAJOR overlook by Motorola that they can't seem to be able to fix. I urge you not to buy this phone.

Hello all. Maybe someone was successful to putting 2 sims +SD at the same time by glueing SIM2 & SD together?? Looking to check is there any software block that prevents it(as it is now with Samsung)

Look at internet a lot of users with problems in the two versions of edge.
Motorola needs to explain problems, solutions, date of solutions...
$700 flagship with problems brand new???

Hi guys! I love this phones design. Im considering to buy it for 3 months now.In my country it costs only 439 euros. The only thing stopping me is the screen and its issues. Many ppl are complaining about the screen issues and returning this gorgeous phone. I really want it. Have we some statistics about the faulty devices or something? I really want this phone.

After almost one month of usage....Loving every bit!
i´m not gonna waste my time arguing about the specs, those who choose the EDGE are seeking for something unique, premium and stunning looks. And the EDGE delivers, people often comment about my phone, how good it looks, and let´s face it, it´s simply stunning, everywhere you look at it.
The things i like the most, are the quality of the screen, nice colors and bight it´s so immersive, viewing a netflix movie on this phone it´s great and very special, the waterfall display really makes a difference.
I like the size , it´s pocket friendly and light enough to carry around in your pocket
The batery life is great, with moderate usage you can get two days, one if you use it very much
Camera could be better , does not impress, simply delivers. During the day photos are great, evening shots are ok. The selfie camera photos are way too processed colors are too saturated for my taste. good news is, you can download google cam, which improves a lot the overall quality.
Sound is clear not the loudest in the in the room but great, stereo makes a difference.
Overall is a unique phone easy to recommend. The perfomance is great very smooth with the 90hz display and the UI is clean, like using a Google pixel.

Pre-ordered save $200 on top of that I'm very satisfied with the phone so far. 5G is spotty but overall the phone is worth every dime I spent. And $200 off retail made even a better deal

Coming from a Moto G 5G Plus mainly because of it´s huge dimensions.
Of course this one feels great in hands and yes the display is really immersive with it´s edgless borders. It must be device the one of the most immersive screen experience phones in the market.
Too soon to give a proper feedback, let you know it the next weeks

Motorola Edge 5g i just bought new one last 2 week now im having problem with screen around the edge light in the background wight i can see like waves dark come up and down.

I didn't need a new phone, I just wanted one. My Moto Z4 worked just fine and nothing was wrong with it, but when I saw the special promotion for the Edge on Best Buy, I had to go for it. At 6G of RAM and 256G of internal memory (plus expandable memory), this was too good to pass up. The fact that it's a 5G phone makes it that much better, I can now get a signal ANYWHERE. The Edge display took a minute to get used to, but it wasn't that difficult. Truth be told, this is the type of phone I wanted YEARS ago when other companies like Samsung were making edgeless, bezel-less displays, but I'm glad I waited. I'm usually pretty loyal to a brand if I like it, and I'm glad Motorola made it possible.

I received an invitation to purchase this phone at a reduced sale price and am I glad I did! I do not understand the negative remarks being stated as I found this phone to be a nice addition to Motorola's line-up as well as a viable competitor in the ever expanding smartphone marketplace. The cost of phones seems to be growing exponentially so when a sale comes along on a product I want to try I usually jump all over it and thoroughly test/use the phone before casting any negative opinions. Overall for the price I paid I find this phone to be on equal footing with the big guys and probably the best Motorola phone I've owned (10) and/or tested, sold. I like the "feel" in my hand for a 6.7in display it is very sleek, easily slides into my pocket. Setting this up from new is very quick especially if you have a Android Cloud based backup or simply using google to "setup my new device". In this case I went from a Samsung Galaxy A51 to the Edge and was up and running in less than 30 minutes. Does this phone have any "Cons" yes but too few to mention or keep someone from purchasing. Perhaps in other countries it is rather expensive, I don't know, I do know that talk, text, camera, and everyday usage is great. I experienced no issues and overall like this device. I guess for others you can just chalk up to bad luck.
