Motorola Edge 60 and/or Edge 60 Pro might join Razr series at April 24 event

Motorola Android

Motorola is launching the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra on April 24, as revealed yesterday. Now it seems like these won't be the only phones at that event. Instead, they might be joined by either the Edge 60, the Edge 60 Pro, or both of them.

That's what we've gleaned from an email newsletter received by Motorola today, which you can see below. This seems to portray an Edge device to the right of one of the new Razrs. It also features the April 24 date as you can see (by the way, we have no idea why the email mixes two languages).

A similar teaser but without mentioning the date can be seen on regional Motorola's websites as of today.

Motorola's Indian website, however, strays a bit from the rest. Instead on the foldable linne, it focuses more prominently on one or multiple devices in the Edge line, allowing you to register your interest for them.

For what it's worth, Motorola has already launched the Edge 60 Fusion and Edge 60 Stylus, so it's unsurprising that they are going to be joined by more members of the family.

According to a Chinese certification, the Edge 60 has a 6.67-inch OLED screen with 1220p resolution and an embedded fingerprint sensor, a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultrawide, a 10 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, a 50 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,500 mAh battery with 68W wired charging support.

The Edge 60 Pro has the same screen, the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC at the helm, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage, a 50 MP main camera, a 32 MP selfie shooter, and a 6,000 mAh battery with 90W wired charging.

You know how much 110 db is? That's 18,3 stops, higher even than dedicated video cameras. Regular phone sensor would need triple exposure to even come close. M4/3 sensor is where it'll get really interesting with push for dedicated camera s...
