Anonymous, 11 Aug 2008Garbage, no 3g, whats the point?SO, are you telling me that countries not using 3G are also garbage? Come on, developing countries rarely have 3G networks. Your technological society makes you perceive that anything which lacks some neat features is crap. Think about the lesser people.

I think this is a brilliant phone!
This phone could be a good bang for the money if priced well. Living in an emerging country I can tell you this kind of phone is exactly what we need. We do not have 3G networks, in phone internet is still too expensive, so; why whould you focus on providing those features on a cheap phone? Sadly, most wanna-be geeks, a.k.a. fanboys (we do have them) just focus on specs without looking at what makes a product worth, its avility to satisfy most of your needs. They key pad design is just great, I'd just want to have excellent sound quality, if it has it; I'll be on line to pick up this phone.

Well i hate my K3 it restarts often then. My mom warned me about moto is not durable. I guess i had the wrong decision in buying K3. It restarts it can't handle viruses (files with) but my W200 (SE) does not restart eventhough i install applications with viruses. WELL SE IS SOOO DURABLE that's why they don't put it on SALE here in the phil. i can see many people using SE phones.

syndrela, 10 Aug 2008is moto became fool to launch such type of model which has up to 8 GB memory but dont have 3G ... moreIf you're Moto's management and given:

1)2/3 of your customers (mainly US and mainland China) do not have 3G

2)The rest of x number of customers from developing countries...(those who supported Moto to sustain its no.3 spot in terms of sales volume) also do not have 3G.

What would you do? Put 3G in these phones so to make these phones more expensive with less people can utilize the functions?

Don't get me wrong, I love Moto's 3G phones and I've owned almost every single one of them, and also wait for the next ones.

for the fact that motorola developes models that are reachable for medium class people it s really a step high for motorola but again motorola is making boring steps in developing thier phones fetures. I hope that they will come to wider displays, with new concepts, high level features and dont forget the megapixel cuz im counting on it, it must be beyond what is!!! be enlightened cuz buyers nowadays are so picky that those who log gets the last place. Hellomoto !!! wake up!

i fail to understand just how someone can call a phone ugly without having even held it and besides beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder imo...and yea this is indeed the miniature version of the E8 and in India you can expect this around Rs.8000...
