Bought this phone at the end of 2015. It has been with me for 9 years. Most annoying thing has been the limited number of SMS texts it can store, requiring me to constantly delete them. Also the keypad has a weird tactile feedback. Other than that it has been a lovely phone, rather reliable as well. Unfortunately there is nothing similar out there I could replace it with once it dies - as small and as cool.

Motorola have discontinued the Phone tools updates for this phone. The latest version that comes with the later phones is version 5, but many on the market only have version 4. and there are 3 or 4 updates, that are called for when you run it first time, but none are now available from Motorola. Anyone got them please?

I've been trying to find another phone like this since my I PHONE 4S was Lost/Stolen. It only makes me realize what a great little phone this was. It was loaded with ready to use Apps, without all the Hub-A-Dub Windows Display. Best phone Motorola ever made. Sad to see it's been discontinued because all the others on the Market now-a-days are just made to cost more to operate, lose and replace together with accessories. Bring it back Motorola, bring it back!!!

12degree, 06 Jan 2010Can i use this phone as modem to my laptop thru its usb connector? Yes you can use it as a modem for your laptop. Just install the mobile tools software that comes with it.

Check with your local telcom supplier.

I would say the batery power is average...in the beguining you get the impression that is lasts many days but with normal usage you'll get no longer than 3days...

I donk understand why all marks (any)said :battery Stand BY 300 h, Talk time 6 h, when never the batterys work more of 2 o 3 days in stand by.I dont understand this.

How about the time of duration of the battery? I have one K1,and this is the only weak point of the mobile(only 48 houres).The K3 have a good time of duration of the battery ?? thx
