Thanks for ur comment for my previous post.
I've already tried to Factory Data Setting, but it didn't work. So, I inserted the SIM card to the other handset (Sonny Erisson)and then reinserted it to my handset. After that it was ok and i can use it for SMS function.
But the another problem is, i can only use SMS function with only 80 characters. If the characters are more than 80, SMS is automatically changed to MMS function. Our Country (Myanmar) is not allowed for MMS function. so, i want to use the SMS function with over 80 characters. What would i do? Please let me know step by step.

You can google how to make use of "link2sd" in order to use sd card for apps totally. I use it and it's a totally awesome...you can add 800mb of internal storage if you are using an 8gb card

How I can transfer apps from cellphone memory to sd memory card?
This cellphone has got only 150MB storage and I cand download manu apps for this phone because the memory is to low.

Android 2.3 doesn't need a 1ghz processor. Its been ported and is on loads of phones with less than 1ghz. I got it on my ZTE Blade which is a 600mhz ARM v6.

Good phone if you use Dexter's Froyo upgrade to Android 2.2. Very unstable and buggy on stock firmware. Much better on Froyo.
Motorola does not plan to release any updates for this phone even though it's barely a year old. Avoid if you are looking for support from the manufacturer.

I've been using this phone for about 7 months now. the first few months were great but now it hangs up, auto-restarts, facing connectivity problems when connected to pc, sometimes overheats even when i'm not using it and many more things. showed it to service center but they said its working fine LOL.
other than that when the phone is working its awesome very fast n fun the touch is very good and smooth.

My 1st Android device, but Moto doesn't support it well, until now, there's no update to Froyo (2.2),, I'm very disappointed, please Moto, if you don't want to update it, at least, ALLOW US to update by ourselves. UNLOCK THE BOOTLOADER!

I have been using this garbage phone for 3 months now. Other then the camera rest is all garbage. I wrote to Motorola and they do not care to recall this phone.

I am using XT720 for last 10 months and I am satisfied with the phone in almost every aspect. I do not like the design of the phone but after all there are always 2 sides to a coin.
I would like to mention specially about videos and audio, somewhere on the net I read that there is no support for DivX and Xvid video files but for everyones kind information indeed they are supported and play awesome. All you need is to install Rock Player Lite application which is available on the Android market for free. It is the awesome player i have ever seen. The Rock player support almost every file format with any lenght of the video. I have used .mpg, .dat, .vob, .mp4, .avi, .3g2, .wmv, .3gp and etc. I beleive this player is the best one for your XT720.
Also the music quality is superior to any other android phone in the market. You can find tens of hundreds music players and music application to fulfill your needs. Just downlaod the players best suited to you.
When it comes to the Froyo 2.2 update, the only thing different in the Froyo is you can install and access your apps from SD card which allows you to install n number of apps and on the other hand gradully decreses the functioning speed as well. To do this all you need is some applications which are also available on market for free which will enable you to store and install apps on SD card...Vallllla...here you go, now you do not need to wait for FROYO.
Now talking about the phone features, it spotrs AGPS which is very useful for the Maps and Compass applications. The Wi-Fi connectivity and speeds are awesome, bluetooth interface is some what slougy but you can make it work perfect using some Apps.
The main thing you will feell after buying this phone is Freedom. It is the way google has designed it. You need anything, just go to Android Market site and you will find Apps for almost your every need. Currently there are approximately 1.50 Lacks applications are avaliable on the Android market itself, and you can google the android applications on the third party sites as well.
Conclusion : If you are Motorola fans then you would just love this awesome MASTERPIECE.
