Here I am, almost 4 years later, and I'm absolutely loving this device! Falling in love with it all over again... This is just a wonderful watch. Sure, it has it's flaws, but all in all, great job Motorola! I got mine used about 2 years ago, and I've been wearing it almost every day since. Just love it! Battery life usually gets me through the day, but just barely. The screen is also starting to lose pixels, which is to be expected at 4 years. Maybe I'll buy another sometime, or maybe upgrade to a 2nd Gen Moto.
Thanks to Motorola for doing such a great job in bringing us Android Wearables!
I'm confused, how does this display work? It claims it's an LCD, but the blacks seem to be shut off, and the display is cut into a circle, which I thought only OLED's could do. I need answers.

Anonymous, 16 Jun 2016Will not connect to my iPhone 5c. It is made to work with all software 9 and onwards
I own a Moto 360 (1st gen) and it work perfectly an now you can buy it for a great price. Software is the same as the Moto 360 (2nd gen),
Running Android OS 6.0.1, Android Wear 184.108.40.20680363, Google Play Services: 9.2.56
Also has WIFI working when BlueTooth lost or to far from phone.
To have you work on iPhone you must download AndroidWear software onto iPhone first. https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/android-wear/id986496028?mt=8
AnonD-13060, 24 May 2016Will this watch work better in an iPhone or Android ? What would be the major difference ? Android by a long shot. Android just was meant for Android Wear devices. Android Wear support for the iPhone was more of an afterthought, not a full-fledged feature.
AnonD-13060, 24 May 2016Will this watch work better in an iPhone or Android ? What would be the major difference ? The iPhone turns this watch into a piece of junk. It doesn't support the Moto at all, it works way better with a android

A number of corrections:
- It has WiFi, 2.4GHz only, supports IPv4 and IPv6.
- Alerts, it only vibrates, no MP3 or WAV ringtones.
- Features, no MP3 player, no speaker at all.
With normal/minimal use you can expect 24-36 hours out of a full charge. With heavy use you can kill it in 12 hours or less. Running major updates sucks 1/3 of the battery and it becomes uncomfortably warm (there have only been 3 updates, so this is very rare). The screen response is very good on Marshmellow.
One major annoyance, it comes with the Moto Body Wear App built-in, regardless of whether you have it on your phone, and can't be removed by default. It's possible to remove through adb (see the xda forums for directions if you know what adb is). Moto Body will pop up nagging you to use it, and also recording your steps heartbeat every 5 minutes.
