my phone has just gone kaput.
it has a non removable battery.... how do I get to the sims card to retrieve all my contacts, photos, etc.
It was my first phone. I purchased it in 2014 as soon as it was launched. It worked well for 1year. But after that it started dying with sudden restarts, non functioning speakers, low battery life, etc. But since last one and half month I was facing the problem while calling . When number was dialled blank white screen was coming and mobile was getting restart. That was not enough I even couldn't receive calls, WiFi ,hotspot, Bluetooth stopped working. But mobile Internet was working well. But as days passed it also stopped. During these period I gave my mobile in service center for 3 days but they couldn't even figure out the problem and told me to change motherboard that would have cost 3000₹. I didn't go for that. I used mobile Internet (which was working) for almost 10 days...and suddenly it got switch off and not starting. Don't by moto.
ive had my phone for two years and since about a year ago it started to drop service during phone calls

Have had mine just over one year with no problems. I get 11 days battery life with kitkat 4.4 data and GPS off and wifi on.
I would suggest accessing the Google Play website with the chrome browser that is installed. Works for me.
Moto E is Best. It is my 1st Smartphone and now i'm waiting for my 2nd(Moto E 3rd Generation).
Jeronimo, 13 Jul 2016Worst celphone ever. 2 hours of battery and the cellphone turn off. Dont buy thisPure bulls***......after I charge this phone, on average for 2.5 hours, it will last me for 2 to 3 days. Perhaps you purchased a dud ?
This phone was my 1st smart phone on Republic Wireless and it is a great basic smart phone. I paid 99 dollars for it new in 2014 and have really enjoyed it. Don't expect to install a lot of information on it as you only get 2gbs of on board memory but it has a long lasting 1.5 day battery, a good screen, and great durability for being an entry level smartphone. If you just need a phone for talk and text and some minimal web browsing this is a great option.
