I purchased a Moto E last November. It crashed yesterday morning. Since then, I have been on the phone with 8-10 different people (between Verizon and Motorola) to fix it. I had to change my Google password and was told to wait 24 hours and to continue with the factory reset. The phone still won't take my Google password and when I tried calling Motorola, all I get now are busy signals or 20+ minute waits. The phone is crap. Motorola customer service is crap. Verizon customer service is crap. Do not purchase this phone.

When I got, It was amazing ........To look only. But in the few . I got it that I payed For the Very worst thing... the Camera, And its switch Are were always problematic..... So Don't Buy Anything from Motorola
The worst smartphone i have ever seen rite on the day of purchase i am facing problems like sudden restart when power button is pressed.
Screen is having a scratch then what is the use of gorilla screen.
One side screen color has changed with yellowish.
I strongly recommend not to take any of the products from Motorola.
I've had this for a good couple years... It was a decent phone until about 10 months ago where it just started to lag horribly, apps kept crashing and, the worst part is that it randomly turns off and turned on again and the date and time reset to the last time it happened. It's a great starter phone though, but I wouldn't be able to give a well informed opinion because my knowledge on these things is extremely low :)
After 2 years with this phone, i would say that it has served me well. But after 1 year i could not wait to get rid of it. I was faced by random reboots each and every time i would press the power button for too long then after awhile my mic/ speaker would always need to be 'hit' to start working again especially after the use of earphones.
Moto-E cuts out preventing any phone conversation. I've attached electrical tape over it's noise cancel port, as was suggested by RW, until a fix was to be sent out to us. Does anyone know how to fix this, as it cannot be useful as a phone. Someone please help.

As a result I am f... moreif you are running marshmallow you have to have the sd card as part of the phones internal memory to transfer items to it you cannot remove the sd card and use it somewhere else until you have re formatted it

Piece of garbage, no wonder it's discontinued. Very big disappointment, and now I have to deal with Koodo. We'll see if they are going to change to another phone. Two strikes, you're out, Moto G!
I have the Straight Talk XT830C variant, and the specs aren't as good as I would like, but the durability is very good. I lost it in a field for 2 months, and when I finally found it, it had been through several storms and a bullet had ricocheted off the screen. I put it on the charger, and it turned on, no problems. The screen worked but slightly discolored around the deep scratch where the bullet skimmed over. So it is a great phone in durability standards.
