Had scratches on the metal rail around the phone. It also had a blown out speaker. So i asked for a refund. The exchange amount was given as gift card which i was able to use, rest was transferred into my bank account.
Moto E3 was my secondary phone, though many here are saying that OTG is not that big a issue, well you may be right. But I'm picky and i didn't like the fact that it had issues in it.
I may go with a Samsung phone now, lets see how that holds up.

In short it is a case of burning fingers in billion sale.
OK but that is not the... moreAlso Flipkart is not ready to Give a new replacement.,only refurbished I don't know what kind of deal is this?
We asking replacement , they agreed, again a refurbished they sending and then a refund. So it means they just want to hold our money for approx 30 days.
The defective product sent to manufacturer.
30 days all over India, how many replacements, how much they hold....watta an idea sir ji :-) simply mind blowing
AnonD-596417, 22 Oct 2016Samsung is having maximum number of service centres , so does it means they manufacturing def... morePlease understand before you argue.
Automobiles are mechanical components which get wear and tear with use. This needs regular servicing and maintenance.
But mobile phones are not mechanical devices. They are digital instruments, with few mechanical parts ( buttons for power, volume) for this setting up service centre at every corner is not viable.
Samsung can afford doing it coz mobile is not the only consumer product it offers. It needs service centres for its other products. In that case ,even if mobile is seperate division, they find it easy to set up one for mobile. Plus most of basic components like touch screen, memory chips, ram, battery, SoC are manufactured in-house and are readily available.hence they have it.
OPPO, VIVO and Gionee are all dependent on other vendors. Plus they charge for setting up their authorised centres. Then it becomes franchise owner headache to keep the minimum stock of spares at any given time.
In this way O,V and G make money. Plus they know the quality and that is why they allow for franchise stores. Logic is simple - in case of defects, service centre guy has to deal with available resources. Actual company may never be bothered what happened. Service centre guy wants to recover investment. This is their business model. But we people are happy by thinking- wow they care for customers.
We Indians run when something is available at lower rates. That is why ringing bell / freedom phone scam happens.
Nothing is free in this world. We pay the price, either at one time or in instalments.

OK but that is not their fault. It's our fault that we didn't understand- nothing is free.
Now don't get much fascinated by billion sale and move on in life. Take it as a lesson.

Actually i'am not all in a mood to buy Moto e3 power, cuz of MT processor., But I got trapped by alluring exchange bonus, that's the greatest mistake I've done. So this is the grt lesson for us.
And I strongly believe that these most defective products are sold on BILLION DAY offer., so it's a great lesson to me.
Don't fall or buy a product just for offers :-)

For example Maruti , Hyundai , Toyota having huge service outlets and they are leaders.
In INDIA no one can sustain without proper service centres eg: Nissan & Fiat
Manufacturing defects are ok , if it's 2% but 20% is definitely not acceptable., LENOVO did in moto e3 power.
Again i'am saying our most favorite MOTO is dead, LENOVO just using its name cheating us.
AnonD-596417, 21 Oct 2016I hate arguing online , just because of my purchase is online iam here , for the past 10 days ... moreBuddy i am using mobiles since 1999.it was time when Motorola was a status symbol and Nokia was fast growing brand.
Till now I have only visited service centre once in 2010. It was my first (&last) Micromax.
I have used mostly Motorola,SONY and BlackBerry ( my work phone). Never i had any problem. I travel a lot due to my profession and am in outdoors most of time.never had any issues.plus I have lot of data sharing requirements.
You my friend, are crying over OTG issue. Why do we have OTG? It's basically to transfer, share and store data. Today we have 5 options for the purpose.
- on board memory
- SD card
- data cable to connect to computer
Buy any smart phone, at least 4 of above features are always available. Plus we have third party software Xender to transfer data ( if movies can be shared then any data transfer is possible)
If you are so much concerned about your data, any of above means are still open for you to use it.
But on this forum you are wailing like a baby about OTG, as if your phone is paralysed without it.
And I have discussed about stategy of OPPO, VIVO and Gionee in my previous comments ( in reply to R31ya).
Having lots of service centre by a manufacturer literally means that they are aware of their products quality and knows he will need to repair/ replace stuff.
Moto, 21 Oct 2016Yeah i agree with you.
This guy is arguing from long time, don't know why, but I'm sure that ... moreI hate arguing online , just because of my purchase is online iam here , for the past 10 days googling About this OTG issue just wasting my time.
I prefer Oppo coz of their service support.
In last 4 years of my online purchase, this is the first bad experience to me
Anonymous, 21 Oct 2016All are good..but cemera quality is little beat low...Yes u r right.... use camera 360 fpr little bit improvement of filters

AnonD-600621, 21 Oct 2016how is the share phone contact number with another person Buddy are you using such mobile for first time?
You can transfer contacts in many ways, if you have used similar phones:
- third party software
- give handwritten numbers to other person.
above methods are standard across any handset of any company available from past 2 years.
Feel free to choose any of them.
aatif khan, 20 Oct 2016Your reply is as expected- paid by company to argue.
Yeah i agree with you.
This guy is arguing from long time, don't know why, but I'm sure that he is paid by xioami may be OPPO. This guy is posing videos on YouTube and what not?
If you are not interested in this phone then don't come here again and again. You are damaging your image😂
