Hi, I am looking for a 4G phone.....will the new moto e2 works out better cost-wise?
Bought this phone for my wife. All good except for one major problem - people can't hear her voice properly it's all distorted during many calls. I phoned Tesco where I got the phone. They said do a reset which is a pain because you lose all settings etc. Anyway problem persists. Now I am reading this forum it's clear this phone has a common fault with lots of people experiencing the same problem. The answer - a piece of sellotape stuck over the rear mic! Does it have to be special Motorola approved service tape I wonder? Motorola by now should have worked out a software update to fix this I.e. Switch off the rear mic automatically when phone is in call.
Moto e 2nd gen not yet recieved android 5.1 in india.moto e 2nd gen is not even one year old they expire this E2 series in updates.they said You will be up to date in software side. shame on motorola company.

Hey guys! Is there any problem with the phone's mic.. CZ sm users are complaining dt d voice is not audible at the other end??
ganga, 12 Oct 2015sir everything is good but no flash This moto e 2gen is one of the best phone under 7000 not flashlight but is ok why not hang and touch very smooth battery is awesome camera decent I play heavy game in this not lagging smooth not to much hitting I suggest buyer belive me this phone is awsome.........
Really, it's kind of baffling an otherwise well-rounded entry-level smartphone is missing an LED flash. I can only attribute that to them not wanting it to compete with the Moto G because, really, how much could it possibly add to the cost?
This, as so many of the company's offerings since 2013, offers a generous feature set and a very good price. Android 5.0 runs smoothly on the device.
