At the moment my Moto G is using CyanogenMod 13 (i.e. Marshmallow)

I love this phone, it's the best phone ever. i have been using mine since 2013 and i haven't faced any issues with it.
Only problem is that they have stopped updating it.

Also, I try to use contacts I have entered. This phone assigns the number I have entered to a different contact person. This appears to be a problem with the touch screen.

We all download apps since it is free. But we do not realise that some viruses also come free.

Worst service ever..motorola just know how to make money. I repaired my phone thrice in a warrenty period and still not working…they just format the phone and give you

I have Motog 1st Generation since Jan 2014. It works well with no issues. But since beginning, it automatically makes call to different contacts which is beypnd my control.

cunga, 01 Oct 2016i wanted to know if anyone has tried this with pokemon goI used a moto x play the last year and it was great, but stolen a few days ago and all Koodo could provide me with was a moto g4 plus, Fracken sucks for Pokemon go, lags like hell on a couple lures and balls throws are held up countless times, charger cable attachment is flimsy at best and not durable enuf for an avid player. Worst phone I have ever purchased

Instead of buying this you should have bought G4,the latest of line.

I purchased a Moto G (3rd Gen.) recently from Consumer Cellular. It sets up well and has a few nice features but unfortunately does not run FB or Pandora with any efficiency. These two apps continually stop when on a home wifi and require manual intervention to restart almost every time. I've stayed with Anrdroid for the ease in setup but am willing now to make the switch to the Iphone on my next purchase.

VERY disappointed to be aban... moreIts not official but Nougat has been ported to the 1st gen Moto G. While it is possible to brick your device its rather simple, for the most part, easy to install a custom rom.
I have been running an unofficial port of Cyanogenmod 14, a modified version of Android 7, successfully for a number of weeks. Furthermore I have enabled google assistant and it works beautifully on the Moto G.

I've had the Moto G 1st Gen for 2 years. Still works excellent.
VERY disappointed to be abandoned by Lenovo when they took over Moto Mobility: no Android M update in 2015, and no security updates.
With Android Pay coming and making security much more important, I won't trust Lenovo with another phone.

initially moto G was good im working. but now after 1 and half years , it heated too much , hanging problem specially when GPS is on. most of softwares stops suddenly even MoTO G UI also. my rating is 4 on 10 (3 on good looking and 1 on it's working)

Motorola lied in their spec. I just bought a Moto G4. I wanted to use it for my astronomy hobby. No good at all. NO accelerometer! They state that the G4 had one. It doesn't. No compass either. Great phone. Rubbish for apps if you need an accelerometer. Are they allowed to lie?

I have a Motorola moto g. The only problem I have with this phone is the screen sensitivity. It is much too sensitive when scrolling. It changes screens at the slightest touch.
