i want to purchase this phone but afraid due to the fact that when motorola has not entered indian market even for (offline) sales of this product then how will it be able to provide satisfactory service ?

to make a video 3G call on moto g & moto x.
these are the steps.
If you call someone who has a 3G video phone, you can send them live video from your camera. If your phone is roaming on a non-3G network, video calls will not work
To turn video calling on or off:
NOTE: If you turn off video calling, your phone will not accept video calls.
1)Press Center Select Key
2)Scroll to and Select Settings
3)Scroll to and Select Initial Setup
4)Scroll to and Select Video Share Service
5)Scroll to and Select On or Off
6)Power cycle the phone to complete this change
To make a video call:
1)Start a normal voice call
2)Press the Share Video key to start sharing video with the caller. During the call:
*Press Stop Video to change the call to a voice call with the speakerphone on.
*If you accept another incoming voice call, your phone changes this video call to a voice call.
*If you accept another incoming video call, your phone ends this video call.
3)To end the call, press the END Key.

I have had this phone for about 1.5 months. Nice change from my HTC one v, which was total garbage. Much more reliable and better all around. Good display, battery should last 1.5 to 2 days under normal use. Only downside is lack of storage. Camera is also not great but OK.I have read that some have had trouble with 4.4.2 but I personally have not.

Well some people seem to be having a good experience with moto g and others seem to be having issues. i think most of the issues seem to be with the dual sim version. if people having good experience post their settings that would help.
Mine: global gsm model, carrier at&t, kitkat 4.4.3, settings : location -Device, connected to g wifi at home, finding 4.4.3 draining battery on n wifi.

hi...frnds am using this Beauty since last 2 months.
Best of the mobile:Brilliant HD display looks like very costly.
loudspeaker also excellent they are very loud.
Camera is the best part of this mobile.but well in night.
i love games and I have tried some games in moto g like rf 2012,Fifa 14,contract killer,GTA 3 all games are superb in moto g without a lag.In my opinion its also a gaming mobile.
Battery also good at least 1.5 days.
its also play 1080p videos superbly.
If u want no doubt go for it.
It beats lumia 1320

I so far have done some intense research on this for over two weeks now because even I was worried thinking "This price for this good of a phone is too good to be true" But no. Any issues this phone had was directly related to the dual sim varients of this phone and 4.4.2 update for that varient. The 4.4.3 update just got released fixing any issues. You shouldn't worry at all. And if any issues arise just contact Motorola and they'll help you with a solution, or return it for another. I ordered mine already and I can't wait. Watch some review videos, or read some. Nothing but positive reviews, and anything negative is just being picky for what it didn't have.
