The phone Moto G is excellent and sure worth the money, but the after sales service is pathetic. Got my phone's glass cracked at first fall within 3 days of buying the phone. They are charging 5000 for the replacement, since screen is integrated to the outside glass (phone itself is 12500 - 8 Gb or 14000 - 16 Gb). I paid 2000 as advance to their service centre in Kolkata, (Wireless Communications) on 13th May 2014. No response till yet and one standard reply." the part will get shipped from Bangalore tomorrow" God alone knows when their tomorrow will come. Escalating the matter to Motorola Tool free no was of no use as the Service head guys(Mr Rajesh Mishra) number they gave is helpless too. Now he has stopped taking my phone calls. Tried calling him twice today before writing this. So people planning to buy Moto either be extremely cautious in handing of the device or be prepared to get it resolved in a years time. Ironically the Moto website says they are trying to make the best mobile devices in the world (they forgot, even the best needs some kind of service). Also the corn gorilla glass seems to be the best in class, but whose phone does not take a fall or a two. Guess that the reason they started selling expensive shells/covers along with the launch.

Hi friends... Moto g is not having automatic call waiting option... We have set it manually... Go to settings-dual Sim settings-call settings-Sim card related call settings-additional settings-there tick on call waiting...
Lack of this I missed so many important calls...if I'm right follow this...if not tell me my fault...this is only for helping others... Thank you...

I need aclarification about, whether the two sim card have the 3G facilityat the same time or Sim-1 have G and Sim-2 as 2G. Kindly can anyone clarify

Whether it’s possible to receive an incoming call with other sim(2) while we are on the data/net use in the sim(1)
Because in Samsung Duos sets there is an option called ‘Receive incoming call via other sim’ and ‘Smart dual sim’ option. This helps in to receive calls with other sim when we are on the call with another.
Whether Moto G has this functionality option.

Here's how to get great battery life on moto g:
1) Turn on developer options by going to settings, about phone and tapping build number 7 times. In developer settings choose, select runtime to ART. Also turn off animations.
2) set settings->location to battery saving

Scoop, 04 Jun 2014Take the sim out & re insert it..hopefully this helps.just press unlock button and both the volume keys for 5-6 seconds ..there will be menu in which u will find reboot option go for it...u can move the cursor up and down by the volume keys...try it ...will work for sure

It can beat hundreds of phones in terms of battery backup. that is the HUGE plus in it...
