First time I got disappointed with smartphone. I'm giving this with 2 months experience.
1. Screen clarity (pixel density awesome)
2. Price in this range is good
3. Gorilla glass additional advantage
4. Dual sim
1. Poor battery backup
2. Lags with high end games, even sometime struggles for temple run too.
3. Gets over heated in shorter time
4. More than 6 applications itself, mobile got slowdown
Over all rating according to me : 2/5

Friend Mr. OB
The battery back-up of moto g is poor & drains in a very short period is it true or specific to some defective pieces?

When we are on the call on sim1, if there a incoming call for the sim2 whether it connects, suppose somebody dials whether network says the 'Not reachable / switch off'
Please share your view & experience on the point dear friend.

Sam, 03 May 2014Hi all..... The are 2 phones making news in the town.... One is moto G ang the other is Lenovo... moreLenovo s660 is a nice device but again price difference is all that matters.
In that price point I suggest you to look for Xperia models, they are really good.
But comparing moto and Lenovo,
Leaving battery department moto is way ahead and after viewing many comparison results, mediatek processors are very weak in front of snapdragon ones (graphically and processor wise too).
I suggest you to watch some 'vs' videos on YouTube for better idea in this matter.
I hope this will help you.
See guys here I'm posting the honest review on our own experience...we bought two MOTO G mobiles by reading all the reviews in maximum all sites but after purchasing the mobiles it simply seems wasting of valuable money in a stupid manner friends..really so painfull it is.. the battery drains with in 4-5 hours completely even when it is standard mode in both the devices really soo annoyed with the choice I made..now I really understand why svmsung is still in demand.
Such a worst experience with MOTO G... whatever the awesome specs afford by the manufacturer if the battery life is 2-3 hours just think how painfull it will be after spending 1000s of bugs on such garbage.
Please don't go with it...if u don't believe after the purchase I'm sure the backdrops of this mobile will make us to behave like phsyco on motorola service.
Shreya, 03 May 2014Hey guys! In Moto G both sims r 3G?No, u don't have 3g for both the Sims.
One slot is reserved for 3g enabled sim while second slot is reserved for only 2g sim.
For first slot you can choose from 2g or 3g options, but for second slot only 2g is avaliable (sad but true). You can't change 3g connectivity according to your needs.
Hari, 03 May 2014Dear Friend Mr. OB,
Kindly clear my doubt on dual sim functionality. Is there any setting li... moreNo, there is no smart dual Sim option available.
But there are two options available for one data enabled sim i.e
1) incoming calls on the non data enabled sim go to voice-mail if data is active
2) data is stopped to receive calls on the non_data enabled sim.
And you can't get calls from another sim when one sim is active (during call).
Data traffic on enabled on sim 1 will not effect function in sim2. But during call on sim1 you can't access Internet or receive calls on sim2.
Sim1 sim2 sim1 sim2... Making me crazy.. Lol...
I hope I cleared your doubts.. I have tested this on my handset so its perfect.
Shreya, 03 May 2014Hey guys! In Moto G both sims r 3G?yes both the si s of oto g can run 3g :)
