1.Change your display brightness from Auto to manual( set it to 60% or less). Using Auto brightness drains the battery.
2.Let your battery discharges completely(less than 5%) then fully charge it again.
See if it helps.

This Iphone is the real deal... I hace thi moto g about 3 months now and I hace only hood things to say, the battery on this smartphone really is smart,the camera takes good quality photos on natural light, the displays it's a fine piece of art, and I was Iphone 4s user before i bought this moto g, let me tell you something for the price you can't have a better phone... 4.4.2 really rocks and the phone goes smooth and nice.

Hello everyone,
I have bought a mot g 16 GB from flipkart recently. One thing i would like to ask you is that.....the battery of my moto g is draining very fast....even on idle it decreases 10% per hour.....m on auto brightness settings,my data connection is off...., m not using wiifi,have cancelled all running apps from the cache...,no running app...is this a problem with all moto g's ????or it is just my phone's problem....????shd i ask the flipkart for a replacement....???? please help.....m not being able to use my phone beyond 6 hrs of moderate use.....

Guyes It's a worsed phone that I have just purchased. 3G fluctuating very much. and voice and data will not support together. Here a discussion with a Tech guy of Motorolla Moto G.

Motorola's much-acclaimed Moto G is one of the best Android budget smartphones on the marquee. It is also one of the few phones to run Android 4.4 KitKat and a stock version at that. However, now i am having many issues after the phone received the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update.
Several posts on Motorola's support forum indicate that a number of users have been facing problems such as call drop and sim card registration.
The first post on the thread dates back to January 20. The issue has been acknowledged by a Motorola representative who said the company is already looking into the issue.
Interestingly, Motorola has created a separate thread for Indian users although there are just a handful of posts on it.
However, it seems the company has not yet been able to fix connectivity glitch issue for all users as the recent posts on the forum show. The issue seems related to the phone's antenna software and sim authentication modules, as noted by a report on Android Police.
Goto these links before buying moto g. As i am in a great regret that i can use my phone only for gaming and watching videos. For calling and using internet currently i am using one china mobile for the time being. It has been long three months waiting for bug fix, but till date nothing happened.

Urgent: Hi Guys....I am planning to buy it today...if you kindly give me some details it will be easier for me to buy this phone.....
1. Single SIM with 8 GB (No extra slot), is it will be a major problem to use Skype, Google talk, internet browsing, and also some games... Actually I want to use for Skype, facebooking, email, Viber, frequently.....Is it possible to use these applications smoothly?
2. How about its battery life time....How long it will go if I fully charge it.
3. How about its sound quality for talking?

Lenovo a Chinese company has bought Motorola so think twice before you to buy this phone. There will be no future updates and according to my experience with Chinese phones the new phones will come with substandard hardware..software issues and after sale service will deteriorate.
