Its mostly because of the apps that you have installed in your phone. when i install rocket player/battery doctor I had this problem. do check recently installed apps.

I am having this phone and only problem it has is it heats a lot at display side .unlike other android phone it is heating very much from screen side not back side even if it is resting on stand by mode. So guys do you have this problem with your set or I m the only unfortunate ??

Moto g is showing its version 4.4..2 kit kat but i didn't upgrade it at all????

Guy, this is my first android phone after symbian, bada and window phone os from nokia, sam, sony, htc. And i love this OS system very much except symbian. and now i am thinking why i choose android instead of window phone. Now i purchased moto g 16 GB on 23rd april hoping i will get the update of android kitkat but when i checked on software update, it says i have the latest version. But it is android 4.4.2 not kitkat. Why i am not getting the kitkat update as promised by motorola during the launch of this set. How do i get Kitkat update, do i have to visit the motorola service center for the update or is there any other way. Thanks in advance.

Anyways, talking about processors, it's good to get in technical part but hey do you know that iPhone 5 was supposed to be much faster than Samsung s4, but it was not were nearly same.
My point is, Even if in the technical point of view one beats the another, it always comes who practically beats the another. Don't you think?
I suggest you to see some ''vs" videos that will definitely clear your view.
Remember even Samsung S5 show some glitches.
I hope u understand it what I'm trying to say and I'm not a supporter Moto G who is trying to convince u to buy Moto. It's your decision but I'm just trying help.

Xperia M dual though dual core come with Snapdragon S4 Plus processor with Krait architecture, where as Moto G Snapdragon 400 with Cortex-A7 architecture. This Cortex- 7 is far behind Krait architecture as one of the leading tech exploration has reviewed this & said that 1 Krait processor = Cortex-A15. The Cortex
Processor is always low end processor say tech experts.
Kindly share your opinion on the above point.
Sony has assured to give Kitkat to Xperia M dual, and to fix the heating issue on surfing in this phone.

The price is way too high in my country..almost equal as 300 dollars ! C'mon you're gotta be kidding me..why so high? If i add a little more money,then I can buy a Galaxy Grand 2 !!! So,why should i buy this "expensive" phone? There is no point at all.

This problem feels more cause of the software than the hardware.
Have you tried hard resetting you phone or formatting it. Try it.
But before, Butter check on the Internet relating this matter, there must be someone who has same problem. I'm sure.
If nothing is possible than you must contact Motorola's customer care immediately.
Sorry, but I don't have any solution on this, but my advice, try to hard reset (that will restore all original configuration and delete all data, and you will feel just like your original phone)
Hope your problem will solved quickly.

If you're in India than, yes!! Flipkart is the only option.
I wonder why it is not available in other stores. Sad! But what we can do about it right?

Xperia M Dual is a nice phone. I will try to explain, (it's my point of view)
If we compare both specs wise than Xperia fails in many ways but according to their price points, they are good at that position.
Xperia had less screen size and also less screen resolution than Moto G. Processor wise Moto G leads the way strongly.
But let me be true, Sony has some service centers in india(if you are living In India) but Motorola don't. Sony has great design and sound quality and also the brand value but Motorola has lost some of its value because of its past reasons.
Truly, I can't compare both of them because Xperia m is giving you value for your money at 12k, unless ur in tight budget I'll recommend you to go for Moto G.
The reason is Moto G leads the way in specs region and also with latest OS version and if you are willing to buy Xperia better check whether Sony is ready to give you kitkat version in future.
I hope u understand my opinion.
