I'm planning to buy Moto G from UAE, coz it's not available in my country Egypt.
It seems that there are no branches for Motorola here,
does it mean that I wouldn't get the Moto G updates?

Guys..you people are telling about service ?? I have a samsung galaxy s2 which is close to 3 yrs old and I never visited service centres or for any spares..Those all negligible issues...These comments are raised by those who bought some shit for 30k or 40k and living with it

i have a 2 years old Acer phone still going good.. and i dont think there is ACER service for mobiles in India.. i am planning Moto G :)

Sold my 5 months old xperia sp & ordered the 16gb dual sim Moto G (probably getting it on friday). Flipkart has started shipping Motos. SP was good but I was fed up with having my battery low all the time & also sometimes felt the need of 2 sims. Reviews are good for Moto G everywhere especially the battery. At some sites it is even declared to be the best in battery endurance, even better then the flagships like Note 3, Htc One, ihone 5s etc. Reviews are for single sim version though. I would have been much happier to buy Moto X if motorola lauched it alongwith G in India. Finally, Moto G is the best phone at this price & even higher.
