There are multiple types of Head phone standards such as OMTP, AHJ and Apple.It would be helpful for me to go for a headset of a similar standard that moto g uses so that i need not pull the phone out of my pocket every time i need to answer calls and change fm station/Mp3 tracks. I think it would be ahj standard since it is a american company

Motorola is making us foooooooool..bcoz Moto G has DUAL CORE not quad core..if you dont believe thn moto g users install ES TASK MANAGER go to-MORE>ABOUT PHONE>SYSTEM....!!!

Hi,
Guys I have ordered this phone through FlipKart in India, But now I saw that this phone supports only micro SIM. Now i am worried about the availability of the same in India. Can anyone suggest any solution.

Want to know about the Sound Quality through... moreWell am an audiophile and if you ask me the one thing i hate about this super awesome phone is the quality of the headphone for which we frankly cannot blame Moto coz the are not shipping with the headphones desired for the market..It's the retailer who are providing it.
So If you want a leaf out of my book.better if you go for a sony/Creative/Bose...
That's of course my opinion.
Creative is always a beast and value for money..
Otherwise the device has nothing to do with the quality of sound that is outputted.

Battery is discharging while the mobile is on standby.I put the mobile to sleep with battery levels at 88% but after i woke up(after around 8 hours) the battery level was merely 25% and it was also switched off automatically...I have not put any sims as of now..please respond what may the issue be.

addi, 11 Feb 2014is,nt it better t to go for canvas 2.2 then moto g seeing after sales service I will go for the Moto G still what service do I need for a Android phone if it is nicely build, waterproof and big support on Android community. Meaning I would have the latest software all the time.

I'm facing problem with 3g connectivity in my moto g.
I've restarted it several times, manually set the settings required for data connection, changed sim of different carriers. but no way I could find the 3g in my phone. just E for edge shows up. no 3g. anyone facing same problem or any solution you know. plz let me know.

That's the same link that I posted in reply to Joe1994 on 09-02-2014, but thanks for the tip.
I wish now that I had stayed on Android 4.3, it had a longer battery life and of course OTG.

sorry for that
in my opinion 11 gb out of 16 gg would be enough for a normal user considering the fact that he/she doesnt fill it up with unnecessary files
for ex i use a xperia neo v
very backdated device
since i am an advanced user i have rooted it and installed a custom rom now it has got few cool features of xperia z
so for an advanced user he/she can root moto g (kitkat)and i am sure there must be some way to enable it
