I really should agree with some of the users who said that the sound quality is good in this device. I personally am an audiophile and using a beats headphone for my device. Its clear, loud and most importantly the stock music player has a lot of options in settings like 3D surround and Ambiant... The music is very soothing

My prioritiy is f... moreWell i believe sanpdragon 400 is sufficient enough provided with Adreno 305 which is a hefty little gpu for gaming but if you are into heavy gaming then I cant vouch on that coz,, although it is has a quadcore processor it is still Cortex A7.
Go for Droid Maxx or a Xolo Play T1000 coz the latter provides you a Tegra 3 at 15k.
Or else my personal opinion will be Nexus 4, which will suffice all your needs at 4/5k more and it is a beast in hardware..

Out of 8GB you will only get 5GB maximum to store all files. Which may become a issue later. But in 16GB version you will get 12.5GB to store your files. If you are only using this for calls/chats/browsing then 8GB is okay. But I prefer you to go to 16GB model as the price difference is not high.

There are multiple types of Head phone standards such as OMTP, AHJ and Apple.It would be helpful for me to go for a headset of a similar standard that moto g uses so that i need not pull the phone out of my pocket every time i need to answer calls and change fm station/Mp3 tracks. I think it would be ahj standard since it is a american company

Motorola is making us foooooooool..bcoz Moto G has DUAL CORE not quad core..if you dont believe thn moto g users install ES TASK MANAGER go to-MORE>ABOUT PHONE>SYSTEM....!!!

Want to know about the Sound Quality through... moreWell am an audiophile and if you ask me the one thing i hate about this super awesome phone is the quality of the headphone for which we frankly cannot blame Moto coz the are not shipping with the headphones desired for the market..It's the retailer who are providing it.
So If you want a leaf out of my book.better if you go for a sony/Creative/Bose...
That's of course my opinion.
Creative is always a beast and value for money..
Otherwise the device has nothing to do with the quality of sound that is outputted.

Battery is discharging while the mobile is on standby.I put the mobile to sleep with battery levels at 88% but after i woke up(after around 8 hours) the battery level was merely 25% and it was also switched off automatically...I have not put any sims as of now..please respond what may the issue be.
