The motorola provides updated kitkat 4.4 in Brazil until the end of January,
but not updated Moto G. Consumers are being hurt.
Motorola has taken a providence.
Yep. Lenovo has already said that Motorola will keep it's identity, which would make sense from a business point of view. As for the Moto G, I really like it and think it is wonderful, and even more so because of it's fantastic price.

AnonD-216843, 30 Jan 2014That's where my concern also lies.
Though lenovo was the forth highest grosser in this quarte... moreso many concerns, and tomorrow u cross the road and are run over by a bus and you are gone...
mate, live the present; phone is being produced by Moto, they still have a strategy and pipeline of phones and software for one or two years. Things won't change overnight.
besides, people rarely keep smartphones for more than two years. Buy what you want know and enjoy it, as you are still alive... and then, when you outgrown it, think of it "then"
Should i buy it or not? As it is took over by Lenovo. I want good UI not lenovo's one. Please tell me I'm curious
Just a bit curious
will u buy the phone nw that the co is taken over by lenovo n people who have bought the phone would u buy if the phone was launched by lenovo?
finally....! Flipkart is set for Moto G launch. Check it out..! http://www.flipkart.com/motorola#moto

AnonD-208390, 30 Jan 2014How do I install offline apk files?The best smartphone
Freefaller™, 30 Jan 2014@ laxis What ISN'T made in China these days?@Freefaller I never said the word 'made'. When Motorola was owned by Google, users were confident of getting updates quicker than any other Android phones (except maybe Nexus). But with Lenovo's acquisition Motorola phone (potential) users will be in doubt.
I decide to buy a midrange android but I refrain myself from buying a chinese phone so I thought I will get a Moto G. But unfortunately Moto G is just another chinese phone.
aldo, 30 Jan 2014hi!
i am looking for a dualsim phone and in my country i have at the same price motorola mot... moreMoto G won the product of the year,, so undoubtedly it is the best. But the prob is today Google announced that it's selling Motorola's smartphone business to Chinese manufacturer Lenovo for about $3 billion. And that can be a concern.
Apart from that i can suggest you another good phone in this price range desire 501 better than core and 500 anyday.
AnonD-215550, 30 Jan 2014How many hours i have to charge moto g for the first time (first charge) @ malithishan
As long as it takes to reach 100% (LOL). My phone came with about 60% charge in the battery. I just plugged it in overnight (about 7 hours).
The booklet that comes with the phone states "Motorola batteries and charging systems have circuitry that protects the battery from damage from overcharging".
One word of caution though. Do NOT let the battery run right down. There are reports from other users on the Internet that if you let the battery run down to 0% then it will not recharge or have difficulty beginning the charge. I charge mine when it reaches 16 - 20%.
AnonD-227761, 30 Jan 2014Google sold Motorola mobility to Lenovo for 2.9 billion..
Will it affect Moto G anyways??That's where my concern also lies.
Though lenovo was the forth highest grosser in this quarter still relying on them with this phone, will that serve the purpose?
My second concern lies in the fact, that i was actually buying this phone for the Google branding and it's fast updates. Now suddenly that seems vague.
Am actually in a dilemma after receiving this news.
Micromax is also launching their successor of Canvas Knight with better specs.
Lenovo and Micromax hold the same stature for me.
