kitkat update was available two days back, it has improved the battery life on standby, now can last few days on standby. global gsm version shd work on at&t and on t-mobile if you are in an area with 1900 ghz 3g band in us otherwise u might get only 2g speeds.

Motorola Moto G is fantastic and very much liked, but still has an option acceptable manner if this model is replaced by Snapdragon processor 400 in Mediatek MT6592, still believe the greatest success will be, the model should be called Motorola Moto G+ or Motorola Moto M

Can anyone tell me if a Global GSM model can be used in the US without problems? It appears that the data freqs between the US and Global models are not identical. Will this present any problems?

this is one of the best phones ive ever used. it has a great display design and i had a wonderful gaming experience with it. in overall the phone is the best deal you can get.
but there are some disadvantages:
1. poor camera qulity
it coudnt be something better whilw having all those other advantages with a cost of 179$
2.no 4g network
i dont really mind because there is no 4g network in the country i live.
3.No expendable memory.
For me thats the biggest issue in the Moto G.
